Heard it (partially) last night on air and confirmed it this AM with a call to the WTAM 1100AM Newsroom.

Springer is G-O-N-E! (As of this coming Monday)

Wonder if this is isolated or he's dead nationwide?

Isn't he all that was "carrying" Airhead America as well?

The way I understand it is that Air America is only the distributor for Jerry Springer's radio show. They neither own or produce it, but they do take credit for the station as an affiliate. Since his show was the only AA "product" on air there it can be said that AA loses it's Cleveland station. Live by fake numbers, die by fake numbers.

I know it.  If you don't like someone, don't turn them on.  That's what I do.  I know a lot of people that get a big kick out of Jerry's show.  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that. heh!

I stopped listening to WTAM in the morning 'cause of Springer. He sure didn't last too long.

Any news on what is replacing him though? They were trying to balance out against Rush...like that could happen.

In Houston we have a Glen Beck, should have heard him try to take credit for 'breaking' the ports deal. When we know it was Savage that was screaming first and the loudest ...what a jerk Beck is. I've also heard Beck say he doesn't like freepers.

As far as who replaces Springer on 'TAM, my guess would be Tony Snow since WTAM is a FOX affiliate and Tony isn't on the air in Northeast Ohio.
