Thanks. I am better than I was the other day, just not back to 100% yet.
It's probably not her fault that they wrote her character like that. I of course don't know what you're talking about but she's just playing how it's written, right?
Izzit snow yet?
It is here! Inch or so on the ground and we're supposed to get more all day. It's cold, too.
Silly Jen...thinks we're talking about actors and not real people...
Heh.... good morning!
~sip~
Well... I know in my own writing sometimes my characters get away from me and start having a life of their own. So maybe you can blame the character a little.
Our hens are laying again, after taking all winter off. (This was the first year I didn't bother putting out a timed light to trick them in to thinking the days were longer than they actually were.) As the days have gotten longer, they're laying more and more...even Puffy has laid an egg...she hasn't laid since last Spring.
They're covered under a state of Grace, because they're pets. That won't happen again with any other chickens, once we get a bit of land. The longest any will live will be 18 months then it's to the chop!
They're also getting a lot of radish greens, which apparently they love! It's so funny, because they will chase each other if one has a clump of greens! I just stand out there watching them chase the ones with the greens and laugh and laugh!
I'm thinking of getting four meat chickens...
Well, at least the pediatrician has told me that it does work that way. :-)
hehehehe....
Sounds like a marvelous idea. Wish I'd thought of it before getting here today.
Giving them the winter off was probably a good thing. Kinda like letting a field lie fallow for a year to let it replenish itself.
Just noticed that the "Frodo lives" pin was distributed by Houghton-Mifflin. Nice marketing tool for the publisher!
Clear and sunny, but 29 here this morning.
Kittens darted out the door first thing this morning... Monsters on the loose.
It's clear and cold here as well. We're ~supposed~ to get rain/snow tonight and tomorrow.
~sigh~
*looks around at cubicle walls*
This is gonna be a long week...
Hey, no sighing, you have a smoochmoot this week!
My alyssum seeds say to plant 'em a few weeks before the last frost. Is that now?
Can I plant something?
Can I plant something?
Can I plant something??
;-)
If it says that then plant 'em :~D
