Stickiness and all....
LOL!

Its a way of life... or rather, if survival down here. It has its charm and its drawbacks.... big ole, swamping, paralyzing storms come to mind LOL but most days its just lovely.

For me it will always be romantic, I like it more than I like Florida.
AND I DO like Florida a lot.....hehe
To: EsmeraldaA
I know, it has a sort of dreamy quality. The live oaks, spanish moss, lush landscapes and Heaven only knows how many varieties of birds. Hummingbirds, egrets, you name it. From where I'm sitting now I can see magnolias and gardenias in bloom. At night their fragrance fills the air.

LOL. Ok, I'll lay off. :) We also have an abundance of mosquitos, chiggers, stinging catepillars, fireants, snakes and gators.

As it is quiet I will post a pic - this one is cool no flying beasties or creepy crawlies.
This Boat came in today it did not seem to bring anything. Of course, nothing is as close as it looks.

The interview with the boy went well. It is always refreshing to talk with a teenager who sounds reasonably intelligent and level headed and whose clothes fit properly.

"I'm sitting here bare-footed, in shorts and the A/C is going full blast" There are other options?? Actually, I didn't even turn the AC on until a few days ago, and am still only running it for short periods of time.

"From where I'm sitting now I can see magnolias and gardenias in bloom." I do love the magnolias in bloom. They are gorgeous here too, what with all that rain we had.
