Now about the Tasmanian tiger

Some say that it died off but others say it might still exist in an altered state of seclusion and in few numbers.

This last-known Tasmanian tiger - or thylacine - was captured in 1933 and died in a zoo in 1936

Note on thylacines. Whether or not one exists in the wild, I think there can be no doubt that one will be cloned in the next 20 years or so.
