Why, whatever do you mean? :)
Don't worry--most nights, I can barely type on a full size keyboard.
Hey :) Is the baby home yet?
You're welcome :)
LOL
Actually, I was thinking the "semi-live" thread includes me: After my weekly flight from DEN to LAX I am sometimes "semi-live."
:)
baby comes home tomorrow and all hell will break loose...LOL....I'm not up to being the maid, nanny and cook for all of them...
Conflicted here. That's the same time as "The Shield" on FX.
The Shield repeats at 11PM.
I hate the begging part too.
If I was in charge of what the penalty would be for coming in last place during a non-elimination leg then I would have the team spin a board or pick an envelope at the beginning of the next leg with several possible penalties. They could be:
Whatever place you finish the leg in, you add 1 position - example you come in 5th, you get awarded 6th place.
You get a time penalty at the end of 10 minutes up to 30 minutes.
You get no penalty.
At a road block or a detour, the team has to do a little more than the other teams - ie all the teams carry 100 pounds of bricks to a location, but the last place team has to carry 150 pounds.
Take all of their money at the end of the leg, but give them the same amount on the next leg as the rest of the teams. This way they are penalized a little, but don't have to beg which is ridiculous to me. If it were just one option, I like this last one the best.
Last season (which, in the reality world, was only about 2 months ago), "The Amazing Race" put families of four on the road -- mostly in the United States -- for the first time. This season, the show's ninth, finds a return to the two-person team/international format we've come to know and love. The race begins tonight in Denver, Colo., from which 11 teams ... quickly jet off to their first location: Sao Paolo, Brazil. Upon landing, they must venture into the heart of the city to find their next clue.
Other stops this season include Moscow, Sicily and the Middle East.
Reminder: Next week, TAR moves to its new time slot--10pm EST, Tuesdays.
And in case you miss anything, the CBS recap will be posted here tomorrow morning.
I know. That is a late hour for a show like this. But I can't really watch it anyway with Idol on the same night.
I thought they changed it to Thursday nights! Thanks for the reminder!
I know the execs at SeeBS have done some downright stupid things is the past, but there ain't no way they're gonna mess with the Thursday night - trifecta!
"Survivor", "CSI", "Without a Trace".
3 Hours of tv. viewing tonight!! 1 hr. for AI a nd 2 for TAR. I'm still giddy from 24 last night. :)
They are not on at the same time are they? That would be terrible. I found out this morning that the Apprentice came on opposite of 24 last night. The Donald is crazy enough to think he can compete against 24.
American Idol is on 7-8:30 and AR 8-10. (Central)
I need Tivo!
I need TIVO too! Why does AI need the extra 30 minutes?
The Apprentice wasn't even really that good last night. Even the Donald seemed bored.
Probably just to mess up the other networks!
I think the tiff between him and Martha has taken a toll on him. :0) But seriously why try to compete with 24? Not a very wise business decision.
