DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Let's get naked! A federal judge struck down Daytona Beach's anti-nudity laws, saying they're unconstitutional.
Regulations prohibiting public nudity and nudity in places that sell alcohol violate the First and 14th amendments' protections of free speech and equal protection, the judge decided.
Daytona Beach also failed to prove its claim that adult nightclubs create secondary negative impacts on levels of crime, prostitution and illegal drug activity in neighborhoods, the judge wrote.
"We won on every single issue," said Daniel Aaronson, a lawyer representing Lollipops Gentleman's Club in its federal lawsuit.
Public nudity has been an issue at some Daytona Beach gatherings, such as Biketoberfest and Spring Break.
City officials said they're considering an appeal.
There are some things best left covered. :-\
This thread should be fun. I wonder if he took his fees on a "contingency" basis?
I don't subscribe to any brand of libertarianism that asserts someone's right to party naked in the street contrary to the wishes of that street's residents.
Regardless of how one feels the idea that such laws could be found unconstitutional is silly. These kind of laws go back to the founding of this country and I haven't seen any amendments making nudity free speech.
Let's get naked and go to Daytona Beach!!!

Except Pissant...
I'm sorry but that club just sounds gay.
No pictures on this thread, please...
A couple rowdy pushy wrinkly octogenarian grandmas partying hard should cure that judge right quick.
Martin, I'll bet the Easy Riders photographers are happy to hear this!!
A friend took me to Lollipops one time in Daytona, being from Atlanta which is world renowned for it's ahem.. "Gentleman's Clubs", I will say I was rather dissapointed.
"So, when do they get to the good part?"
"They don't"
"Check Please"

All bike rallies I have been to this has not been an issue. The police have enough on their hands dealling with drunks and crowd control. If someone flashes, they turn their head and act like they didn't see it. They just want to get through the night without fighting.
BTY. I do have pics! But I can't post them here!
Where have you been all day???
I got a new "turn the TV off" picture.
I would bet that you haven't been to Daytona for at least the last two years. They now have nipple inspectors (I gotta get that job!!), and decibel measuring.
Rev it too loud or flash one and you're paying for it. But you can still moon! :-)
What a day it has been.
