The Seahawks will win this game against the Panthers.
The Steelers will win over Denver and then go on to claim yet another LOMBARDI TROPHY.

It's gonna be a tough, tough game. I just hope they don't try to rely on Alexander for every other play. They have ALOT of options and should try their darnedest to keep Carolina off guard.

as a Bears fan I would like to see Carolina and Denver in the SB with Denver Beating them, because with those 2 teams making the SB it would move the Bears up in the draft from #27 to #25... But i have a feeling it will be Denver an Seattle.
To: normy
The 'Hawks will not stop the cats...the Panthers have been very consistent lately. Delhomme and Smith are the best in the league right now doing what they're doing, and Carolina has the best front four in football. And Fox is a fox.

And your rant does not include the fact that the Bears knocked the crap out of the Panthers and their top running back will be watching on crutches. They won the battle but will lose the War as a result.

Go Panthers!

If Peppers is out, then Hasslebach will have some breathing room. Otherwise the Panthers D will embarrass your team.

Here is the reason - east coast media will not respect any team unless they have competed or won the whole enchilada. The Seahawks have not and therefore the sports media have pretty much blown any coverage of them this year. No one really took notice until Seahwaks gave a serious beat down to the Eagles 42-0 on MNF.
Now, that being said, Carolina has Superbowl experience and is playing like the team of 2 years ago.
To: normy
It seems to be that Seattle's losses, or the Giants, or the
(insert your team name here) losses are all based on the assumption "if only...". What gives anyone the idea that all these "what ifs?" will not occur in the NFC or the AFC Championship Game or the Super Bowl?
There's a reason they still play the games to determine the outcome.
Three Pro Bowlers on the O-line? Heck, the Colts had 7 Pro Bowlers on their team. Alexander is one head-knock away from watching the game from the bench, Peppers will play even if it means one needle for the first half and one for the second, and Delhomme is a playoff quarterback. Jake may bounce around all season, but he has elevated his game both times he has reached the playoffs as a starting QB. Not that it's a gaurantee, mind you, but it's worthy of consideration.
And even if all the players show up and play to their highest caapability, who is to say that the refs are suddenly immune from bad calls? Or that the kick holder will not muff a snap in the final minute of the game?
Play the game and we'll see what else we can complain about on Monday.

Look for Seattle to not just win but beat hell out of Carolina. Your keyboard to God's ears.
Did you see the video on the news last night of all the waiters at the Metropolitan Grill doing a strip tease on top of the bar and donning Seahawks jerseys? Priceless!
