I don't hate him either. I just don't think he's good. I do think he's better than Ace but Ace has no shot of being booted.

I had forgotten the "decade" nights from last year. I hope they tick with that as it affords a much greater variety of song choices.

Oh no! I hope Elliot doesn't get the boot. He is really talented.

I'd like to see Elliot try something by Paul Rodgers.

The decades thing sucked. I want to see the show have some creativity too, not just the singers.

I'd like to see him do something that 1) I recognize, 2) has some life in it and 3) that I like.

He has a nice voice but I haven't liked any of the songs he has done.

:) He could do it! I really hope he doesn't go....that would be so disappointing. He really has a nice soulful sound.

Something like Shooting Star or Rock and Roll Fantasy by Bad Company, Into the Mystic by Van Morrison, Midnight Hour by Wilson Pickett.

Elliot needs more edge. Taylor could do those songs, too.

Ace was fantastic...I think all you guys are intimidated befause he is so fabulous looking ... GO ACE GO ACE GO ACE!!!!

Geez, Hildy.

It's impossible to be intimidated by a guy that sings nothing but George Michael and Michael Jackson tunes.

You can't seem to get past their looks: Mandisa is too fat, Hicks is too old, etc. Are you that superficial?

Taylor has more REAL musicianship in one pinkie than that poser Ace has in his entire Gap-Ad body.

LOL!

Shurely this is rhetorical.......;-)

What kills me is Kevin (Pee Wee) was not the worse last night. Brokeback Ace was the worse. But they are giving Kevin sympathy votes on based on his looks.

I think Brokeback Ace really hid his "gayness" during auditions and every week Brokeback Ace climbs a little far out of the closet. Hell if he makes to the last 4 or so, it is possible that he will be dressed in drag by that time or singing "Like A Virgin".

If they are, they aren't alone. There's a lot of that in these threads.

The ones who are good aren't very marketable(although some have niche market potential), and the ones who are marketable aren't very good.

I agree with you on the latter, but I think the ones who are good are marketable. The one exception is Elliot, IMO, but that can be fixed.

Seacrest cannot win a battle of wits with Simon.

I had to tape the show and watch it later....but that segment about Seacrest dreaming about Simon was hillarious.....Seacrest set himself right up for that one....it'll never be forgotten....funny stuff.

Yeah...Pee Wee and Peter Brady must go tonight....Chris was a bit of a disappointment, I liked Bucky for the first time, Taylor was Taylor....very entertaining, Eilliot impressed me even more this week, and the rest...I already forgot the rest.........well....except ACE who moved my gaydor even more to the right.

I wish that they would let AI audiences have a night to choose the songs for the contestants. That would be an interesting theme night. I think we would do a better job than them sometimes. :)

Hi, Hetty :)

Taylor: Lordamercy! Sounded great ... but I was laughing my a$$ off through the second half of the song. WHAT were those antics of his? He was completely spastic!

LOL! That was a little much :) At least he wasn't doing the "invisible chair thing" again.

(Ace) Yikes. And that falsetto had me climbing the walls. Not his best effort.

To put it mildly! His falsetto cracked my TV screen.

(Mandisa) Granted, she's immense, but she has such a great personal and stage presence that it just doesn't matter that much.

I agree!

Hey jonny. Last night was not the best but I liked Taylor, Chris, Gideon and Elliot in the top 4 last night. THen Kevin and Bucky were so-so and Ace and Will have to GO! Will wasn't as bad as Ace. Ace's voice made me feel like someone was running their fingernails on a chalkboard!! Went straight down my spine.....shudder. As simon says he was utterly dreadful..

Bo on tonight!!!:)

Who will go home? Will and Gedeon.

I'll be shocked if it's not Will and Pee Wee. Gedeon will probably make the Top 12.
