Ya still done good. Hey I'm off to bed with a muscle relaxer (none of that light-weight Nyquil for me). My foot is tingling from the spasms in my back. I'll read until I pass out. If I remember to wake up in the morning, I'll say hi before going off to work (I don't have to leave until 10:30).

Hi Jonny. I just got home at 7:18pm local. I get to see it all in just a little while.

I went to check on those two dogs. Turns out the owners had a death in the family. They have three dogs and all got out. One next door neighbor grabbed one, but the others made it several blocks away where I found them.

Several neighbors are doing all they can to contact the owners, but no one knows where they are, and they have not answered messages. Also, they haven't been home yesterday or today, so if they asked someone to watch the dogs, that person has not done so. Hard to believe they would just leave the dogs in the yard for days with no one to check on them, even at a difficult time. Anyway, a bunch of caring people are doing all they can, which is the best anyone can hope for.

Hopfully there was just some kind of a mix up! My neighbor's puppy was roaming tonight and I brought her home. She was too young to know that being out after dark makes the coyotes suspicious.

Hi apples. Yesterday I found these two dogs wandering in the park where I brought my own dogs. They had tags with a phone number, owner's last name and the name of the each dog. I spent hours trying to contact the owner. No luck. Since I have no yard and no place to keep them, I had no choice but to turn them in to the pound.

I got the owner's address and spoke to the neighbors. To make a long story short, the owners have not been home. There is a condolence basket on the front steps, which indicates they had a death in the family. They have not answered their phone messages. The neighbors and I are doing all we can to help, but unless they listened to their phone messages, the owners don't know the dogs even got out.

Like you said, maybe a mix up. Especially if there was a crisis situation in the family.

We have seven to 10 days before the dogs would be in jeopardy, so hopefully the owners will return or contact us or something.

What a show tonight! The bald, bearded rocker is from North Carolina. I didn't catch where exactly, but his name is Chris Daughtry. He might make the Top 12, never know :)
