Can we start a "Things that tickled Pickler in LA" theme?
I'll go first:
"Wow, y'all have stoplights and all"

VFTW saved Brenna last weekThere's no proof of that.
Bratty teenage girls kept Brenna in last week--she's their queen.

Is doorknob chicken anything like beer-can chicken? Yum!

I think Neese's is exclusive to the Carolina's. But man, is it good!

I like ham better than both bacon and sausage. I think I've gained 10 pounds just from this thread. :)
See you tomorrow night.

In college I knew a girl who was from southern IL and actually had never seen a revolving door before. She asked someone how it worked. This was 1994.
My cousin's wife is from southeastern Missouri. Her mom came to visit and wouldn't get on the escalator at the mall because she had never been on one before.
After these two stories I'm not that shocked when I hear people haven't heard of these things before. The spinach salad did kind of surprise me, though for some reason.

Good thread - the show is fun and reading what y'all have to say here makes it great! AI is definitely a great part of Americana. Goodnight all.

I know I said this last week, too, but I really hope the guys are better then the girls. With maybe 2 exceptions, the girls were dull, dull, dull.

Exactly...this ain't Granny Idol. I have been thinking they need a "Fogie Idol." Old 40-somthings like me that can really belt it out.
Too bad I ain't got the looks package. But there are those that do.
Maybe Hicks can be a bridge of sorts ;)

Hey the thread looks good. :) My choices tonight were Mandisa, Aiyla(?), Pickler. The rest weren't good at all. Boring or just flat. The 2 worst were Brenna and the Melissa girl.
To: EmilyGeiger
The 2 worst were Brenna and the Melissa girl. Not Melissa! She's one of my best picks.
Paris turned in a forgettable performance, I thought.
