for Tammy
Kevin off key??
You must have been watching on a bad TV or thinking of someone else. The guy didn't hit a bad note through the whole song.
I'm up to Elliot now....he's kind of goofy looking but I think he could sing...
And he couldn't even pull it off with the help of back-up singers.
"Gideon has all the soul of Seals and Crofts."
ROTFALMAO....
You nailed it!!!
This Elliot guy is pretty good....a white guy doing Stevie Wonder! And not bad....
We are off by an hour -- It is over here (mountain time) -- I'll check back.
But he was off key (really).
Elliot was/is pretty good.
I feel like that guy from the future in those funny Conan O'Brian sketches with the wierd singer... ;)
Simon just called Elliot the best male singer yet???
He must have gotten into Paula's drugs from last year!
Elliot was very good...but not that good.
I left out Chris because he's too much like Bo, and Bo didn't win last year.
But Chris is very good. He has the look and the voice--very contemporary as Judge Randy said.
Yep -- Off key IMHO
But I learned last year that different ears hear differently. But Simon agrees with me (FWTIW).
This Bobby guy looks like he downed a whole bottle of JD before singing...
Whoa....
I called from 10 to 10:30, and could not get through for Ace or Taylor. Got trough right away for Patrick (guess he doesn't have many fans) and for Sway (likewise.)
I go right down the list and vote for the ones I can get through on.
Starting next week, I'll vote for favorites only.
Simon didn't say he was off key...
Actually, none of the judges did either...
I'll play it back again but I'm a musician and I didn't hear a bad note.
Yes, I did, and I stand on my vote. #10 Bobby, who sang Copa, has a lot of heart and personality. He was quite entertaining. I think the competition is broad enough to include those with a variety of talents. I hope Bobby, Gedeon and Kevin stick around for awhile.
Yeah, a typical lounge lizard, or maybe a cruise ship emcee. I can't believ "Lola" was his grandma's favorite son! At least she's smiling, up in heaven.
But so far none of these guys can hold a candle against McPhee or Lisa Tucker.
I meant "favorite song".
I can't type for beans tonight.
That's right -- just RUB IT IN that you have technology while I live in the technological equivilant to a tent in the woods.
I mean I have to put up with 11Mb wireless!! Can you imagine the horror? 11Mb!!
*sigh*
So--you like Lisa, too? I think we are in the minority here.
McPhee is quite good.
The last few weeks of the competition will be intense.
I couldn't get thru for #06 Chris, the bald guy. Like you, I go down the list until my call registers. Last season, some weeks I hung in there and kept calling till I got thru for my favorite. Other times I just went down the list and voted for a lesser favorite.
You can play the french horn? I'm impressed.
I play the trombone...badly.
I agree with you on Kevin and Bobby....I think Bobby seems like he's a nice guy and has "fun."
Gideon didn't impress me very much but I don't see him getting voted off yet.
G'Ace is on now...(my tape).
He was really lame but Simon liked him. I don't see it....
You ask which one I referred to when I posted, "I hope the girl from CA gets voted off, she seems like a phony". I don't know their names yet, but I think she was from San Bernadino. She just seemed like she was coached too well.
