for Tammy
It's on Fox and it's beating the tar out of ABCCBSNBC in the ratings
And the show appeals to a "red state" audience. The freaks that the left celebrates for being "brave" (like Zachary) don't have a chance on AI.
I'm not sure you/we/they could really tell "Idol Material" at this point. Once the voice coaches get a hold of her who knows?
The voice coaches helped a many finalists...especially Fantasia, Latoya, Clay.
It was just a spat, nothing major.
Simon had been giving the auditioners an unusually hard time and Randy and Paula called him on it. Randy kept saying, "Simon's having a bad day" like he was dismissing his opinions.
Finally Simon had enough. He left the table and told Randy and Paula that they can "do this by yourselves for a while".
He walked out, climbed in his limo and went back to his hotel.
But they only had one more contestant left to see that day--and he was awful--so Simon's absence wasn't a big deal.
Thanks jonny!
Rhonetta the Skank definitely had a muffin top :)
I agree with you about Lauren Weekerly. Her clip went by so fast, but I made a point of remembering her name.
LOL
I don't remember the "Japanese" heritage denotation but I will concede Asian/Polynesian American beauty. Mrs. Suhks did comment on her purple hair but from a male point of view...who cares? They let some real weirdos, that couldn't sing, in before her.
You're welcome :)
BTW, would you like to be added to the Idol ping list?
LOL--that's the only competition Rhonetta could win :)
Well she first auditioned with an opera song (or whatever that was). Then she tried a pop song and it was terrible. They should've let her go to Hollywood, but still, I can see why she was rejected.
The 16-year-old with pigtails.
Whoops - typo. That should have been "Whale tails" :)
Yes! Thanks again.
"What do you think of this year's conestants, Statler?"
"I think they're fabulous!!!"
Hi Jonny.
It's real easy to get someone's phone number, address and other info off the internet these days. As for Jessica talking to him, stalking laws are pretty weak. According to the article, what he did was only a misdemeanor, and he's being held without bail only to check his priors.
She may have initially tried to deal with him reasonably, not understanding you can't reason with such people. In any case, it was her cool head and smart thinking that made it possible for the cops to pick the scumbag up at her grandparents house.
The "answer your damn phone..." is an implied threat. The stalker wants to force continued contact by playing on his victims fears, in this case not just Jessica's for her own safety, but for her family.
And worse than that it is beating up their "Wouldn't Hillary be a great President" TV show.
I thought Simon was being fairly normal. I think Randy and Paula were more out of line than Simon. The people Simon rejected were not all that great. Simon made a couple of Simon comments, but what is new.
Does anyone know if next week is the final week of auditions? I'm getting tired of them already. Esp. all the GCIs...
According to TV.com, there are two AI shows next week: "Auditions 5" and "Auditions 6". For some reason, I have it in my head that they went to seven cities.
As for when the real meat of the competition starts, it's probably better to work backwards. The finals go over 11 weeks (eliminations of #12 through #2), and with 24 semi-finalists, I expect we'll be seeing 3 weeks of semis. That means 14 weeks, including the final week. That means Valentine's day if the finale is the week of May 16, or Feb. 21 if the finale is the following week. The finals won't start until the first 9or second) week of March.
