Will they make Jack Bauer apologize to Muslims this season too? They lost me halfway through last season when they pulled that stunt. I suppose if the bad guys are Christian there will be no need to apologize...

From what i can see by the commercials, someone in NSA leaks Jack is alive, and he is hunted by the agency or something.
Well, Jack killed Habib, Tony was rescued and decided to leave CTU behind with Michelle and start a safe life, Logan became the forever prez, and Logan was going to give Jack to the Chinese. However, Chloe, Tony, and Palmer helped Jack fake his death. Everyone thinks he is dead except for those three.

I currently have Season 2 on DVD and want to tape this season so I won't have a long wait for it after I've finished watching seasons 2 and 3. This is some of the best TV in years. I'm also enjoying Lost and Battlestar Galactica.
What we will see in hour 1 is that the CTU detects a possible plot to detonate nuclear devices in five American cities, but they have to stop short and sit on their hands because the Iranian and Chechen terrorists cleverly placed telephone calls to their co-conspirators in the United States.
For the next 22 episodes, we get to watch as CTU tries in vain to get a FISA warrant issued in time to intercept the terrorists' communications. Then, in the 24th episode we get to watch each of the five nuclear devices detonating.

No, each season is a day in the life of Jack Bauer, with each episode an hour in that day (24 episodes per season). From what I understand, this season begins 18 months after the last season's "day."
