oops...a little early ;o)
Hey thanks. Not sure if I can watch due to other "irons in the fire". But I'll come back and read this as soon as I can.
p.s. I don't drink but know ODouls Amber is decent, non alcoholic amber beer.
Bump!
Thanks for the ping.
Newbie here.
I stumbled across 24 in the middle of last season, saw the end of the season, but I really didn't know much about it. So during last week's football game advertisements, seeing and reading this thread, and Rush talking about it, I decided to watch it last weekend. And OMG I was totally hooked and not only me, but my husband who NEVER watches TV let alone network TV - which neither of us ever watches. I read all of this thread Monday before the second night, got info that one can rent previous seasons, so on to Blockbuster I went last week. We are in the middle of the first season, and I had to go to 3 different Blockbusters on Saturday to find the disks I needed to see.
I watched all of the third disk saturday afternoon and my husband was sore with me on getting "ahead" of him on episodes. So I waited painfully for him to catch up and now we are heading into disk 4 of the first season. Awesome show and cannot wait to see all the seasons and get up to date. BTW love this thread too.
Do we have to watch "Skating With Celebrities"? I'd rather watch "Nanny 911" :-D
Here!!
Can I have root beer please?
58 minutes...
Thanks for the ping, OXEN. It has been a long wait.
Here!
Got home from emergency room JUST IN TIME to catch '24' at 9 EST. Nearly broke my streak of 100 consecutive 'LIVE' viewings of '24' on FOX. Hernia surgery this morning, but major swelling sent me back to hospital this evening...made it home for '24' by the skin of my teeth. As usual; GREAT episode!
Tonight I watched with my ex-husband and was having to yammer at about 90 miles an hour to get him all caught up on who's who and what's what and fortunately, he hasn't lived in a bubble and had some clue as to what was going on and being full time ANG, he knows enough of what I know to acutally cheat and give the reader's digest of stuff... Whereas, if he was a pansy azz liberal I would have had to have explained what a chain of command is (along with what a Secretary of State is and a Chief of Staff, etc. is/are/do/does...) instead of using quick analogies...like the mole has Andy Card's job and helping him match faces with people he heard of (heard of Chloe, Edgar and Jack, of course...)
