Newbie here.

I stumbled across 24 in the middle of last season, saw the end of the season, but I really didn't know much about it. So during last week's football game advertisements, seeing and reading this thread, and Rush talking about it, I decided to watch it last weekend. And OMG I was totally hooked and not only me, but my husband who NEVER watches TV let alone network TV - which neither of us ever watches. I read all of this thread Monday before the second night, got info that one can rent previous seasons, so on to Blockbuster I went last week. We are in the middle of the first season, and I had to go to 3 different Blockbusters on Saturday to find the disks I needed to see.
I watched all of the third disk saturday afternoon and my husband was sore with me on getting "ahead" of him on episodes. So I waited painfully for him to catch up and now we are heading into disk 4 of the first season. Awesome show and cannot wait to see all the seasons and get up to date. BTW love this thread too.

Non TV watcher mostly also. Took a tip from Rush. Gotta wonder how many gave the show a look off his mention. I'm trying to catch up via Netflix. but they have gotten so slooowww.

Before last season I never watched 24. I dont watch a lot of TV and figured if I missed one episode of 24 I'd be lost so why bother.
During the Red Sox World Series I was in a massive bar near Fenway Park. Before the final game there was an ad for the upcoming season of 24 and after it was over the entire bar erupted in wild cheering.
I'd never seen people cheering for a TV show before! I thought I'd check it out and now I am hooked.
