This is the defect in the series. The human interest stories like Tony going personal instead of staying focused and professional.

I must say that the Jack's daughter and boyfriend stuff is so boring although the boyfriend is creepy looking...I think he will be involved later in some negative way.

Last night's episode got corny for awhile...and then toward the end the action picked up again.
Did it ever!

We'll have to wait and see if Tony is really dead.

Not that it's accurate, but IMDB has Tony listed up until the 5am to 6am episode, but that's all the episodes listed on IMDB right now. I wonder if that means anything? They also have David Palmer listed too....Hmmmm? Maybe it means nothing :(

I think we'll be seeing the end of the Hobbit (only some men can pull off "Lynn") before the end of this season.

It just occurred to me but Jack did not kill anybody in this episode

In a way, he killed Lynn and the security guard...by asking Lynn to sacrifice himself and by going outside the "perimeter" to fix the computer gliche, they would put themselves in danger and die. They chose to do it, but Jack called for it.

I think DJ is right. Whenever a multi-season character dies heroically and tragically at the end of an episode, they get the silent 5 count. Certainly for Tony.

Also, after I made that comment, I realized that Tony is history and won't be back unless there is a 24 movie taking place sometime in the past.

Yes..and I also notice that the pic of Chloe that you used for the montage..she's wearing eye makup..which she doesn't do on the show..

Of the four pictures, only Kim Raver's actually came from the show. I'm not really sure where Mary-Lynn's and Reiko's come from but Elisha's is from the Emmys IIRC.

It should be easy to add Connie Brittain since the background is all one color. If it was a background like the Michelle sig (which was the most time consuming one I've ever done) or the one I'm using with Chloe, it would mean starting totally over.

There are gas mask, AND atropine. But they are both stored somewhere where nobody could get to them in an emergency. They actually talked about that on the show. I'm thinking they are in for a serious after-action defect prevention meeting.

No kidding. "OK, we've got gas masks and special rooms that can be sealed off, but no gas masks in the special rooms. Does anybody see a potential problem with this?"

OK, one more nit. They can use satellites to capture movements of people, and scan through facial recognition to identify them, and obtain instant access to the building plans of any random building, and control the video feed of security cameras in private residences, but they need to physically sit in front of one special computer to kill a process running on it?

(And everyone at CTU knows how to do this without instructions?)
