It made it much more believable too.
I like Michelle and hope you're right but I think this season is going to be Jacks last and a heartbreaker.
That's exactly what they want you to think. Ya have to admit, if you find out the guy your mom's been seeing is lying about himself, wouldn't you want to protect her? The kid is doing what he thinks is best, he's a young teen full of hormones and is the only man in the house. What he's doing seems pretty normal. But he's catching on quick, for a kid. Yeah, he should have realized that Jack didn't need his help but ... he was a young naive kid just coming to terms with Jack's identity etc...
BTW what is your new puppy?
I think they have a contract for another season
That's an option contract. They have the option to do a 6th. Kiefer has always said that Jack can only have so many bad days.
His reaction to Edgar's questioning was too... calm and normal for him to be a regular geek. He's a mole, I'm sure of it. My husband isnt' so sure.
We both love to see Chloe with firearms. I love her character. She always goes just one sentence too far into detail in her attempts to be nice and sociable. It's hilarious. She definitely has the acting chops do to whatever she wants (she's done comic acting, 24 is her first drama role) and she's a stand up comic besides. That's hard. Listening to the DVD commentary by actors is always interesting. She did a few season 3 eps commentary track with Joel Surnow and she is very very quick witted.
Gotta love Larry hertzog. He is one of the best IMO for creating suspense. He did Nowhere Man about 10 years back, and we loved it... it really played with your mind. So he fits right in here. And they had Vince Flynn on board for consultation on this season's story line. I have got to start reading his stuff.
I love Jane Smart's character too... she's in a tough place, being married to that loser is probably what's making her so wacked!
Michelle is definitely dead. I am sure that's what they said, killed Michelle and Tony was in bad shape. The thing is, you still do CPR even if there's no pulse, and no breathing, don't you? Not that it would have mattered at that point, with the secondary explosion.
I don't know. I would think it would depend on the type of injuries. Another thought is it's "better TV" to see Tony craddling her when there's the secondary than if he was doing CPR.
We shall see. She could wind up later on assisting Jack and Chloe and I have a feeling derek will be around for a while, he got way to much screentime in the first two hours to be killed off quickly, they are building his character.
Ryan Chappelle in season 3 was actually turning into a sympathetic character and redeeming himself. That was the most painful one if you ask me.
I'm thinking we'll find out she is being drugged because she is too chatty -- or something along those lines.
Who?
I agree with you about Derek. He's going to have a really fast learning curve!
That's kind of what I was thinking. She's just not quite 'suave' enough for the policital photo ops, and the stress of having to measure up and comply with such a spineless fool would make anyone act a little nutty and need tranquilizers... then it's fairly simple to give her something a little stronger every time.
Michelle, I do not think she is dead.
I spent an interesting afternoon with a Korean War sniper. He said that his target was always just below the adam's apple. Assuming no windage he said that 6 inches either way and you had a kill. I'm sure others have better info/experience and I welcome their comments.
Yeah that's what I was thinking except that the bomb triggered on her opening the car door (which has me wondering then why she was on the passenger side... wasn't she?).
I think I agree with DJMacWow, it made for better TV to have Tony cradling her. I do think sometimes they make demands on our abilities to suspend disbelief in favor of 'good TV.' There were so many of those "wait that doesn't make sense!" moments in season 3 that that ended up being my least favorite season.
My husband said she was dead the moment she went out the door of the apartment.
I dunno. It seemed pretty definitive to me. Tony was the one they gave a chance, but Michelle was already gone.
Yeah, Erin thought she was compromised or something.
