Also, Michelle might not be dead. She was not inside the car when it exploded. Tony checks her pulse then holds her tight. The secondary explosion knocks tony uncontious protecting michelle from that blast. I bet we see michelle later on.

I think the goons were backup. Remember, she was on the phone with Edgar and was just about to unlock her car door when he told her about the car bomb attack on Tony and Michelle. Maybe there were goons at each location, and they weren't needed at Tony and Michelle's because they thought both were dead.

When Chloe got the word that she was a target, too, she looked around, saw the goons and started running.

They said two or three times "Michelle is dead & Tony may not make it". She was only credited as "special guest star" while Tony was in the cast credits.

I was thinking the same thing. We dont KNOW that Michelle is dead, she might have been in on something that caused her to insist on leaving Tony. I feel pretty confident that Palmer is going to show up, and Michelle might as well.

Cant believe I'm hooked on a TV show.

I don't care if Michelle makes it or not. I'm still ticked that michelle bumped actress Alberta Watson off the show. I remembered Alberta from "La Femme Nikita", she's a fine Canadian actress.

No, no, no. THey send the goons to KILL Chloe. And it doesn't matter that they knew Jack was alive. They are Jack's closest friends at CTU, right? That's no secret. So, killing them would at least SEEM to indicate that they knew Jack was alive and that Jack was offing them because they knew this information.

It's very complicated, but it makes sense if you think about it.

Now that I look back on it, Killing Teri Bauer was the best decision the show made. They said that it was 50/50 that they were going to change the ending of the first season so she lived, but they went with her death. Having her alive would have limited the show incredibly.

That was SOOOO good last night. Waiting with bated breath for the next one.

We just borrowed season 3 (which was probably my least favorite overall) and finished catching up on stuff we've missed. The inside of the boxed set has promo pics of all the major cast members, and Kiefer's is by far the best. I ended up scanning it in and using it as a desktop. LOL

I agree on palmer, but after tony felt for pulse it was as if he almost made a sigh of relief and he did not attempt CPR wich I think he would have if she didn't have a pulse.
