Wow 1200+ posts. We had a 24 party last night, I find this show hard to watch with any distractions whatsoever, because you miss a lot.

I find it funny that they intentionally put themselves up against the Golden Globes tonight. LOL Did the Globes not give them an award last year? I see they are not the favorite in tonights awards show either. The Globes are idiots for the most part about who they give award to!!!

I am glad you got hooked. It will be nice to have your commentary on the show, so welcome. I got hooked last year and when the season ended I felt lost. So I went to the library and checked out all the previous seasons and they were all really great! I think my favorite is season 1 because the unexpected happens in the very last show.

I wondered about that myself. An assassin with a sniper scope would have shot him in the head.

Maybe the wind got the bullet. The glass in the window also might be a factor.

Yes, a good possibility. Maybe he was just a bad shot, he certainly didn't do well when he met Jack!!! LOL

I absolutely love this show, have watched every season. I like the young kid in this years show. He started out as a PITA but I think he will redeem himself.

We love the show too and the cherry on top is that it goes up against the Golden Globes tonight which also start at the same time!

Thanks to 24, it warms the cockles of my heart to know their ratings are in the tank before any of the self absorbed put on an ounce of makeup or designer clothing.

Speaking of the self absorbed, I'm sure the king of all egos will be in attendance.

Are you KIDDING ME!?!?!? He looks like the drugged out kid on the State Farm commercials who finally got good grades and gets a car!!

I can't STAND this kid. Apparently since there weren't any stupid women in these episodes, they had to throw in a stupid kid. Seriously, you see men with guns run into an airport, the same one that you just saw your Mom's boyfriend go into. Now, you've already seen your Mom's BF kill three people, one in cold blood. You've seen him hack into a government computer, take out an FBI agent, and escape a building crawling with Secret Service looking for him, and for some reason you think your five-foot-five inch, buck-55 ass (unarmed no less!!) is going to help him?!?!? Not only that, but you actually think he NEEDS YOUR HELP?!?!?

I seriously think they put characters in the show like this, just so I can yell at the screen and scare my new puppy.

Well, I will give him two weeks to get his act together. From the previews it looks like the bad guys have him as the next for execution. Of course, Jack will save him. I'm sure it's been discussed here already, I don't have time to go through 1200+ posts, but Chloe's new boyfriend looks too young and wimpy to be a CTU employee. I wonder what his agenda is?

OT next group testing at Daytona today. This weeks drivers posted on the thread. I will be back later this afternoon with pics if I have enough time before 24 starts!

Ok, I know everyone has said that Mrs. Logan is the equivilant of Tereza Heinz Kerry, but I really think that President Logan is a snap shot of what a Dean presidency would be like.

Think about it, he's paranoid, in over his head, spaced out and weird half the time, and just horrid. Am I right?

I remember her from "The Brothers McMillian"..she has a great face...but can't recall her on the West Wing.

Yeah,
I thought logan reminded me of someone who was way out of his element and not used to being told what to do.

His wife (granted, I'm a big fan of Jean Smart) reminds me just a teeny bit of Blanche Dubois. She still has that southern softness and sweetness. But her hubby thinks she's nuts and the staff is gaslighting her.

I asked Santa Claus for the first four seasons of 24 and got them.

You must have been exceptionally good this year! Having no commercials is the best, isn't it!

Short time at the CTU, but they needed her expertiese and she was let out to help Jack.

It'll probably come back to me after awhile....when I re-rent the DVD!

Completely sick of "a mole in the organization." Can't we have a straight terrorist plot?
