BOTH
BTW, nice way to off Pres. Palmer. I guess that's what you get for defecting to CBS and for doing Allstate commercials.
Is it Monday night yet? I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

Our daughter set up the DVR, but because the stupid game ran late, the DVR stopped when there was 5 minutes left in the show. We waited until 9 to start watching the taped show so that we could speed through the commercials. We didn't realize that we had missed the last 5 minutes until we got to that point! AARGH!

Anybody wanna tell me what happened? I was thinking that someone tampered with the tape of Palmer's call to Martha. I think Walt is somehow involved. I'm wondering, too, where the guy who is directing the attackers is located. Could he be another mole in CTU?

First time I ever watched this show. UNBELIEVABLE! It is the best! CSI is next. I was glued to the screen for 2 hours! I am still reved! Man, its like amphetamines ( the old days, ha.),....I got two hour of ironing done...really FAST ironing! Wow. THIS is the reality of the white House...not that lib crap that is on.

And yeah, you really need the commercials! where have I been?

I'm hooked!

Rush is in Palm Springs this week to play in the Chrysler PGA tournament. I'm sure he'll find enough time to get to the set to check up on things.

I think we'll break the numbers from last season easily!

Which was longer this season?

Commercials, definitely! We'll see them over and over and over... ;)

Not us. We have TiVo. :-)

There's always a mole at CTU! Sometimes, two or three in a single season... ;)

You'd think they'd get that straightened out after awhile...
Yeah, that's the only thing that's really maddening about this show. Practically every group of people, or every institution, has been compromised by at least one mole. I know they need to have each of the 24 episodes produce a cliffhanger, but c'mon guys, you had a whole year to write this thing! There need to be a few safe harbors in the government, where everybody is actually working FOR the country, the Constitution, & all that's right.

Otherwise it's just Nowhere Man. Granted, Nowhere Man was an awesome series, but that was SOOO NINETIES. This decade is NOT the nineties. Nowadays an evil conspiracy that's been able to infect multiple important parts of the government is a hoary cliche.

Every year I keep saying I'm going to watch it and never do because I figure I am too far out of the loop to bother now. I was so tired yesterday and fought to keep my eyes open to watch the end of the game and then was going to crawl on my hands and knees into bed but I sat there one minute too long and caught the beginning of 24. Within three minutes it was too late to bother with bed, I was hooked. I've never had a TV show keep me on the edge of my seat like that.

Aaack!!! Our idiotic local Fox affiliate cut the show off exactly at 10:00 so they could go to their local newscast. I was thinking "Well, here we go with Heidi, Part II". Thankfully I had the live thread to somewhat make up for it.

This morning's paper had a big article entitled "'24' gets cut off in last 10 minutes--TV fans hit the roof when local newscast begins before show ends." They said that they would re-run Sunday's entire episode, but not before tonight's second episode. I would not want to be them this morning at all.

Rush already has the first 5 shows on DVD. He had told us that two were killed off in the first 10 minutes, but would not say who.

I have never watched this before - really enjoyed it - will watch tonight. I looked for a live thread last night, and could not find it (did not to a search).

I was hooked. I've never had a TV show keep me on the edge of my seat like that.

Last night was the first time I had ever watched it too and I'm hooked too. Fortunately I now have Comcast DVR. Now if I can just figure out how to get volume while the channel is being taped. Im taping it on the HD channel and I cant hear anything so I had to switch to the regular broadcast channel.

Maybe I should read the instructions that came with the converter.....
