I agree. He's a fabulous football player. I was merely trying to point out that NO ONE KNOWS (although I'm sure we'll here from many FReepers that know "for sure").

His politics will become clear when he retires and he wants to run for office.

Note to Fred Taylor. The next time you introduce yourself, you say you are from "THE University of Florida," and not freaking Glades Central High or whatever.

"The Patriots are playing better, but they will be underdogs in their next three games should they make it. I really don't see it."

Time for the Doomsday statistic.

Since 2001 the Patriots are 17-3(Miami got them twice) when facing a team for the second time during a season. The Colts and Steelers are among the many rematch victims.

Wasn't he in the gallery at last year's State of the Union speech at the invitation of W?

Sorry but Tom Brady is a big time Democrat. He's talking about after he retired as a football player that he'll go into politics. In fact, there was a thread on FR about this.

So how does wanting to get into politics after football translate into being a big time Democrat? Jack Kemp went from football to politics and he was a Republican.

Anyway, Tom Brady was a special guest at Bush's last State of the Union address. I think the jury is still out on his political leanings.

In the meantime, he's still only 28 years old. He's got another half dozen Super Bowls to win before we need to worry about it.

ROFLMAO!! Must be one of my grandchildren that posted that. I have told them not to worry about being bored. It's way underrated.

Hard to believe he was ever the #2 QB. Best thing that ever happened to the Patriots was to have Drew Bledsoe go down.

I like the Patriots. I want them to make it to the SuperBowl again. I just can't seem to warm to the Colts even though they've been the darlings of everyone this year.

But, having to root for my team to beat them in the SuperBowl and stop the 3Peat. :-) I wouldn't be devastated at a Pats win, and I'm still not certain my team won't choke as they have a past record of doing in Playoffs, but loyalty demands I must cheer my SeaHawks.

And I'm sitting here watching the Cowboys beat the Vikings in the 1977 NFC championship game.

What the hey.

You have to wait a few more games before we can say 3-peat...however, the Pats do make a good claim.

And now I'm watching the Cowboys play the Vikings in the 1975 playoff game where the first Hail Mary pass was first thrown. To Drew Pearson.......

I'm hoping for a Colts Monday night football style smackdown this year, because frankly I'm tired of hearing Tom Brady whining. Maybe losing a playoff game will shut him up for once. (Or of course it could set off a whole new round of silly comments).

Too many good teams this time around for the Plowin' Patriots to make it all the way, IMO. Coupled with the fact the road won't go thru Foxboro this time. Best year in the last 15 at least for caliber of all teams in the playoffs. I'm a Sea Hogs (seattle) fan, but hey, if they get beat & don't make it, I ain't complainin'. They've had their best regular season ever, and anybody they'll have to play is tough. Bears & Giants scare me the most, then Carolina.

It's the only win they'll get. They'll get skunked next week.

Rats. I was going to watch the tape delay tonight and was sure that I could avoid seeing the outcome on FR. Guess not...

Next time, in addtion to putting your headline in caps, why don't you also put it in bold, underlined, italics. (/sarcasm)

Misterrob, I want to add that I am not sore at you - it was my oversight and my mistake.

I remember while in Montreal in the late 80s/early 90s, a Vermont TV channel would show tape delays of the NBA playoffs immediately after their 10 p.m. news, weather, and sports. The sports guy would announce the result of the game! Even after howls of protests (by me also), for a time he was defiant, maintaining that the viewers had the right to know (he couldn't think to warn beforehand and tell viewers to look away). Finally, he relented :-)

Against Denver I would say it is an even game. The front 7 is healthy and they can shut down anyone's running game. Against Indy there are simply too many rookies and cast offs in the secondary though and in the end you can't win in the NFL with that set up.
