I've had a similar problem a few times..here's what we did...you have to aggravate, and scare, the birds enough that they want to leave....they view dogs as nuisances....get some old sheets..and a few of you hold and spread them out and run at the birds..with lots of yelling...it really scares them..the size and the rapid, fluttering movement....you may have to stay at it for two days, and nights.. or so..but if the birds can't settle down to graze..they'll seek new surroundings..

Your suggestion makes a lot of sense. Frau Blau is hunting for some old sheets right now. She has chased them a few times just running at them and waving her arms, so this idea really appeals to her. I'll let you know how it works. Thanks.

Yep. Dogs are very effective. Anything that keeps the geese from settling will do the trick.

Your suggestion actually sounds fun, ken5050...then, again, it isn't my lawn!

blau993, invite a bunch of teenagers over. Have them turn their car stereos up to "11."

Repeat as needed.
