Your suggestion makes a lot of sense. Frau Blau is hunting for some old sheets right now. She has chased them a few times just running at them and waving her arms, so this idea really appeals to her. I'll let you know how it works. Thanks.

Don't know if it will work with geese, but it scares bears away. We bought a couple air horns, and blasted it when the bear showed up. They run, and haven't come back. We have had several show up to get the bird feeder. It's worth a shot anyway.

Well be carefull, geese are rather a mean lot when pressed. I learned that the hard way sneaking up on one under water when I was a kid. I prefer the Marlin Perkins rocket net myself but they are more expensive than a wildlife critter getter. You might try one of them.
