We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good evening!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
TWU Local 100 agreed to go back to work in New York, ending the illegal transit strike there. Two million dollars worth of fines, pending appeal to a New York State Appellate Court, has been levied against the union local, and Gov. Pataki has said they will not be waived. No change in the negotiating position of either the union local or the City of New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority has occurred, and there exists the possibility of another walkout.
Saddam at his trial indicated the United States is "the number one liar in the world." The trial has been adjourned until January 24, 2006. In other words, so far, there have been four or five court days and weeks upon weeks of nothing.
And President Bush stated "it's been a good year for the American people."
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Caue, the Chairman.
Oh, kassie, my dear, you need to move up north. You would get your fill of 'Christmas weather'.
You know what's so puzzling to me? When Lott left I thought Frist was a better choice because I thought as a heart surgeon he would have had more moxie. He is the first surgeon I have ever heard of who is wishy-washy.
I don't know that Lott would have done a better job. Given his performance with the first two years of President Bush's administration (power sharing, missing the Jeffords defection) I am not so sure about him, either.
I am so disgusted with the Senate right now that I can't make a decent judgement about any of them.
Send those warm temps this-a-way!
Hi, Northern. You're right -- the Rats will take credit for any reduction in troops in Iraq. It's all they have - to steal ideas from the administration.
They are on their way! Good morning, Molly!
It was supposed to get warmer here starting yesterday too but that never materialized. That was some bad storm they had in your son's area; lots of accidents and power outtages. Hope he has a cell phone plan because otherwise he's paying a fortune for any calls he makes.
We have a cell but use it very sparingly (like maybe 20 calls a year). One day I was leaving the mall from shopping for Christmas and every single person who walked in the door, a mad rush, was talking on a cell phone. I don't get the attraction to them myself.
Ha! I made coffee cakes yesterday for Sunday and got them in the freezer as fast as I could. When hubby came home he said, "I smell coffee cake. Where is it?" Told him they were hiding and to not even think about looking for them!
Good morning, sweet Peach!
I'm a fellow Jayhawker,Remember?
OH! Peach! I HAVE TO BE the only person left on the planet, save some tribes somewhere, that IS CELL PHONE DEPRIVED, and GLAD TO BE!
Good morning sweetie. After a rather strange dinner, Mr. P implored me to make a spice cake. I had no frosting in the house so improvised using an internet recipe and it came out quite good. Although frosting cakes is not my specialty and the cake looks rather ravaged.
I'd be happy to send you some! ; )
I've not had coffee cake in years. Mmmmm, I can just taste it now.
Hahaha, sounds good. How much do you have?
AH! I had totally forgotten about the Jayhawker ties we have. Dear kassie, I ride almost every morning in MUCH colder weather than this BALMY 39 degrees, to the bus. This morning's ride was to run an errand and to wish my bus driver Merry Christmas, since I won't see him until next year.
Alaska braces for possible volcanic eruption.

Peach, you and Mr. P's cooking escapades are killing me!
You & me both, Toots.:)
