"I just got a jury summons..." What fun. Not! Of course, if you lived here you wouldn't have to worry about it. I don't think this court could conduct a jury trial if their lives depended on it. Every week there's a thing in the paper saying jurors don't need to show up.
Speaking of incompetent legal types, I had another major altercation with one of the public defenders who likes nothing better than to harass me and one of my coworkers. The guy is a world class @$$hole. Anyway, we spoke with our attorney AGAIN about this jerk and his official response was that we are to #1, tell him to go to h*ll, then, #2, have him call our attorney.
