Just ventured into the latrine, now I need a shower...
Posted on 12/16/2005 7:44:06 PM PST by fwdude
Just make my first post on DUmmies-under-rocks after lurking for several months. What can I expect now that the stick has been poked into the anthill? Hate mail? Death threats? Suspension!!!? LOL
Nothing provocative; just injected a little reason into a discussion... well, maybe it was provocative.

Personally, I think the shot you fired is outside the 1 ring, on the paper at 12 O'clock. Went right over their heads. Remember, these people often forget the words in the front of a sentence before they get all the way to the rear end. Knowing subjects and predicates and how to tell one from the other is an example of hyper rigid thought and a refusal to consider language as "fluid."

DUmmie rules: Be emotional. Embrace outrage. Misspell a word or two. Be planet friendly You forgot rule #1, blame Bush. I lasted six months last time. All I did was blame Bush every other post.

The DUng Beetle Americanus Ravingleftwingnutterus is for the most part harmless.
While single specimens can be loud and obnoxious, it's only in large groups that they become aggressive and potentially dangerous. Usually surrounding and attempting to intimidate smaller species with loud sound and offensive odor. If intimidation fails, they are almost guaranteed to resort to violence, but only when they outnumber their prey by a 10 to 1 ratio. (*See Peaceful Tolerance)
The American DUng Beetle is easily disturbed by reason and reacts with high pitched screeching that is both a danger warning to their fellow DUng Beetles as well as a call to the defense of their underground dwellings. These hives are usually found beneath most one and two story suburban homes. (*See Basement)
Should you find yourself in close contact with this creature, soap and water is an effective decontamination agent. However, if you have spent more than a few minutes in the area of infestation, cult deprogramming may be required before you can be considered contamination free.
While an interesting species to examine at a distance, particularly the rare female (*see Dunst, Kirsten) that is not excessively obese (*see O'Donnell, Rosie) or exhibits masculine tendencies. (*see Garofalo, Janeane) Their predictability and limited intelligence makes long term observation tedious. Prolonged observation of these females may also trigger a well documented but currently little understood paranoia in the DUng Beetle. One would think that attention by a male outside their species would be appreciated by the female considering the male DUng Beetle often prefers the close companionship of other males of any species.

I guess in my original post, I should have stressed my concern of what I can expect. Not a technogeek, so are there any precautions I need to take to prevent technoDUmmies from putting feet to their hatred?

The premise in the lib use of the word "homophobia" is that people who are not willing to accept homosexual behavior as normal do so out of an irrational fear of some sort.
The word itself is an invention, spliced together by some leftie journalist some time back, if memory serves.

I sometimes wonder if all the freepers "undercover" left ,how many DUs would be there:')

Actually there were a few that did, and it bothered them that they agreed w/ Rhenquist, Thomas, and Scalia. And these were not newbies, these were people who have been on Democratic Underground for quite some time. I think they may have gotten some kind of warning (GET BACK ON THE PLANTATION - so much for diversity of thought), and there were some with more obvious Marxist leanings (what, there's shades of left in DUmmieland?) who supported the ruling. Probably also support the land grabs that take place in the Peoples Republic of China.
Of course there are also bannings here on FreeRepublic (I get the opinion that to get banned from here one needs to be a psycho barking moonbat, or otherwise break the acceptable use policy of no violence, racism, etc.), but there is far more diversity of opinion here than the opposition. Also a wide range of interests, including beyond politics. The sewer however, if the discussion goes outside of the negative screams of HATEBUSHHATEREPUBLICANSHATECONSERVATIVESHATECHRISTIANSHATESTRAIGHTSHATEHATEHATEHATE.... it does not conform to the orthodoxy as enforced by the zampolits.
Contrast that negativity with Ronaldus Magnus' "Morning in America".
Fwdude: welcome aboard. Spending too much time on the DUmmieboard can be hazardous to your health. Some have reported elevated blood pressure, etc. This is the shower to visit after looking into the sewer.

I was reading a thread over there about how Saddam was a great guy and had no intentions of developing weapons...ware for oil..blah...blah...blah... I posted a link to an article about how we secured several tons of yellow cake uranium in Iraq early in the war and asked one simple question: What do you think Saddam was planning to do with this? I couldn't believe they booted me...probably without even reading the article.

Your tag is disturbing. Care to enlighten, as to its source and intended meaning, other than the obvious?

Notice the quotation marks; indicating a title coined by the opposition.
