We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good evening!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
There was strong voter turnout across Iraq in the Parliamentary elections there.
450,000 are without power in the south after an ice storm has moved through North Carolina, Virginia (fine where I am), and West Virginia.
And despite state law to the contrary, transit workers in New York city are preparing to go on strike tonight at midnight.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I have the skill-sets. I just haven't used them in a while.... BECAUSE MY CHILDREN ARE GROWN AND GONE! I worked hard to get to that point. ;>)
It was more of an irritation for everyone involved. I'm old and boring, they are young and noisy. We survived.

My (soon to be) 27 y.o. Son babysat his 18 mo. old Nephew last night while the rest of us attended the Catholic School Christmas Program.
He understands your misery. And he only spent a couple of hours with the child. He told me this morning that the experience was the best endorsement of birth control he's seen in quite some time.

Fairly quiet around here, so I just want to say...

I think they are banking of us not getting hit by the radicals, they can say, do anything they like. If we DO get hit by them. blame President W, then all the folks will have forgotten how their politician voted and, blame W.

LOL!!!! I'm sure.
It was the little stuff... My water heater is set past the DANGER setting, to NUKE OVERLOAD, and if you don't watch it, you can scald yourself. And if I do, well, it's my fault.
Their water heater was set to TEPID or FYAO. I have shotguns leaned into corners, and sharp knives laying around, and a gallon of muratic acid under the counter. My house is not child-proof. Their house was young-adult proofed. Just a change. I'm glad it's over.

Every day at 3:35 we get a call from a Spanish speaking woman from Quest, what ever that is, SIL last name is Affonso if that might have any bearing on the calls. I tell her I do not understand her and man oh man, she TRIES to speak English and can't understand a word she says,. Do you or anyone else know of the quest" I don't think it has any connection with the Quest we all know.
To: Molly Pitcher
They want to try to get us killed. They WILL NOT succeed.
My SIL came out with my daughter to drop off some stuff that I had stored with her. It was good to see him. He had just been released for his R&R leave, and was still in his DCUs. He lost a little rank, somewhere along the way (no suprise, he doesn't suffer fools gladly), but he looked great.
It's because of guys like John that the dims won't win.

I wasn't here to put out the trash, and I think a coon got into the trash stack I keep in a box out back. A dog couldn't have opened some of those containers.
I may have to buy some shorts for my .22 and solve that problem.

Okay, I'm hanging up my scissors, yardstick, and knife for the day...
john, please thank your SIL for his service for me, okay?
Toby, Quest? Or Qwest? Isn't that a phone service??
Yes, they're betting with our lives that we don't get hit again, and if we did, they'd not waste a nanosecond blaming the Bush administration.. GAD, they make me ill!!

It just hit me. You offered your minestrone soup recipe. May I have it, too?
Thank you.

Sheesh, I have tried to grow some minestrone two years in a row, have a hard time for it to root.
To: gulfcoast6
LOL
That's the problem. In your neck of the woods you have to grow regular size strone....mini- doesn't work. ;-)
