We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Iraq is said to be calm during elections, at least that is what is being carried on Drudge at this hour.
Meanwhile, in neighboring Iran, pronouncements by the President of that country have stirred strongly negative reactions in Europe, and certainly in Israel--the target of the commentary about being wiped off the Earth. Germany has recalled her diplomat, while President Bush has called the Islamic republic a "real threat". The Iranian President has also stated the Holocaust is nothing but a myth, and that Israel should be moved as far away as Alaska.
The contract between the MTA and the transit workers in the New York metropolitan area expires Friday, and workers are set to go on strike. New York mayor Bloomberg says such a strike would be "devastating."
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Now that is funny.
Ack! Ack!
I just got an e-mail from a friend who showed where the heart of cnn corporation is. Evidently cnn showed a year old picture of some warfare going on and pretended it was happening today during the election process. There should be a law. We must never forget they had a reporter over there all the time sadaam and his sons were torturing and killing people, but kept it a secret from us. One reason I do not watch cnn, the corrupt news network.
YAY! YAY! YAY! TOMORROW IS blabbity's LAST DAY FOR THE YEAR! I don't know who will be subbing, but I so hope at least part of the time it's the Great One. If they play best of blabbity, I will not be listening. It will be SO GOOD not to have to hear the never ending "unbelievabababable..... unbelievabababable..... unbelievabababable..... unbelievabababable..... unbelievabababable..... unbelievabababable....."
Sometimes I think that is the only word in blabbity's vocabulary! I either hit the volume, 'off' or switch the station when I hear that coming on. I truly am convinced he is going to wear that word out and it is going to have to be removed from the English language!
Did you hear blabbity tell Lieberman that he would vote for Lieberman when he had him on a couple of weeks ago when Lieberman had written his pro-war article?
Hard to stomach and believe.
Did like Limbaugh's take on the Iraq election: he said it was another election loss for the Dems...and maybe if they want to feel better, they can just pretend all this is happening while x42 is still in office!
Nita, I'm glad that scarf is still wearable and enjoyable this winter. I haven't done much knitting yet, but soon, I'll be back at it...too much other stuff going on right now, but the January and Feb. blahs are just around the corner...
Evening everyone!
Whoa! That was written by a relatively new FReeper, too.
I made a stop at West Point Market yesterday to pick up a couple of presents. That place is amazing....just passing thru the Better section of the Dairy case, I spotted all sorts of variieties: Blackberry Butter, pumpkin butter, honey butter, besides the more usual herb butters...Oh my! The store was busy too...
Bev???
Okay, I'll go work on supper...
Yes, Molly, I got to hear Rush's 'just pretend' scenario and it was excellent!
:-) And I'm looking forward to Hewitt tonite!
So am I!
I'm in PA now.....a whole lot of friends were to take me out to dinner tonight - but because of the storm - it's postponed a day......I'm holed up in a hotel in Lebanon and watching the emergency plows and such from the window.
supposed to be ice - !!!!
Mom's is delayed a day for now.
hmmmm..... I see onyx got suspended or banned. Haven't seen her for awhile and went a-checkin'
Howdy Peach. I have my two little packages in the mail. Hopefully they'll arrive in time to spice up some food.
I'm getting ready to mail the cutest singing doll to a friend in Germany She will get a kick out of it. It's a santa wearing a sombrero with appropriate outfit. He sings and plays a guitar. He taps his foot, rolls his head back and forth, closes and opens his eyes as he sings. It is darling.
Are you reading Conflict of Visions yet? I read that some years ago, and got a lot out of it.
Why was she banned? I've missed some days...hmmm.
bbl. Have to start dinner and wait for my martini.
Exactly what I'm reading ( you're good.....or psychic )
There's no food here......nothing within walking distance either. I had some fudge in the suitcase for mom---guess that's dinner.
No food, then? Guess I torture you by mentioned West Point Market....sorry!
till, I know nothing more about onyx, etc...
