We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Iraq is said to be calm during elections, at least that is what is being carried on Drudge at this hour.
Meanwhile, in neighboring Iran, pronouncements by the President of that country have stirred strongly negative reactions in Europe, and certainly in Israel--the target of the commentary about being wiped off the Earth. Germany has recalled her diplomat, while President Bush has called the Islamic republic a "real threat". The Iranian President has also stated the Holocaust is nothing but a myth, and that Israel should be moved as far away as Alaska.
The contract between the MTA and the transit workers in the New York metropolitan area expires Friday, and workers are set to go on strike. New York mayor Bloomberg says such a strike would be "devastating."
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
The Iraqi who risked his life to save Jessica Lynch is being interviewed on FNC. What a great guy and very well spoken.
Hmmmmm..........around here they're more worried about getting their funding, which they don't if school is cancelled......
Good morning, tillacum. I just read the final report about the program here in town that gifts our soldiers overseas and it was impressive what they raised. More than anything, I hope our soldiers know how much we love them and support them.
Toby, you're a good man and have a beautiful family. Thanks for reminding us about the true meaning of Christmas.
The BBC actually wrote something positive about Iraq? Color me stunned.
We are very close to Loudoun County but the weather is often times very differwent. So, they close and we stay open. Right now Mr. HOB advised me they are closing early at work. He works in Loudoun County and I am in Fairfax County. My offices (FCPS) are open for the full day while the schools close early.
:-)
missed that 101 aGAIN - I was on a plane
Green Bay won't even do that, though.
Every now & then it gets them in trouble........I remember one year, they started the school day even though it was snowing & blowing already, and predictions were for up to a foot of snow. By the time they had the half-day in the books, conditions were too terrible in some locations to let the kids go and some shools had to keep the kids OVERNIGHT. My friend was a teacher in one of the schools that ended up with an impromptu slumber party with about 400 kids..........she was NOT a happy camper.
Hi Mozie - you got the snow we got Tues. night and woke up to Weds. morn. It was a winter wonderland, wasn't it? I knew you would love it.
Regarding the honor given to the military serving at present at your concerts; I can imagine your pride as you stand up for your son. We are all "standing up" with you Mozie as we are proud of Ev too and his parents for raising him to be the courageous and patriotic son he is.
Dog, the entire world is getting creamed with the way the election is turning out in Iraq, now watch for the dooms day media really put on a push to show how bad our president is.
No, I wouldn't quite agree. It's not totally wrong but I don't think horses are as empathetic as dogs. They're good companions. But dogs enter into my feelings a little more personally.
Mr. Peach and I were out shopping (I was wearing my purple turtleneck) and when we got back in the car, Rush played a clip of Kerry hoping the Rats re-take the House in '06 so they can call for impeachment hearings of President Bush.
Deeply WIERD!! -> -> ->
