We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good evening!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The pummeling that movie theaters took in 2005 is sending crisis shock waves through Hollywild. Hint, guys, maybe a few less gay, lesbian, and transgender movies, and some more of what average America might like because, well, you're not reaching average America!
Before his trial, former Enron CEO Ken Lay has announced to the media that he was a victim of "a wave of terror" from prosecutors.
And Grey Lines is now offering a "New Orleans, Katrina--America's Worst Disaster" tour.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Dolly, that is such a sweer, sad picture. Oliver brought him home, he may have known something, He knew you'd need someone to "play" with.
So if I have my 3 dogs slobber over my mil...she'll be healed?...But will she was her hands/face after....that's the question. LOL
I remember:
My Mom tying strings around warts to get them to drop off.
Taking your fingernail and cross-hatching deep grooves into a mosquito bite.
Butter on burns
Tomato juice baths for those who had a run-in with a smelly animal (an encounter with a badger)
And one I still use: 3-4 Tbsp apple cider vinegar in 1/4 cup warm water and a few dashes of Tabasco sauce (we used to use horseradish or hot mustard), drink it down to clear up congestion. Tastes awful but cleans out those passages immediately!
Yep! Good ole home remedies...as a nurse, I can tell you that many of them work better than what modern medicine has to offer :-)
argh
Your voting cleanup in Indiana sounds wonderful. Wish we would do something here in California as we don't even have ID's needed. Much room for voting fraud.
Toby that is so sweet. Thank you. We think of you a dear, dear friend. Miss you when you miss a day with us. But I feel the same way about our FReeper friends. Miss them when they aren't here and sad when something sad happens in their life.
I'm baking in the kitchen and checking in here occasionally hoping someone will know the answer to that, CM. I don't see it on C-Span at all.
Harry Reid is on Fox critizing the Presidents Iraq policy.....it is sickening.
((((Dolly)))) We're with you in prayer. Many hugs and thoughts to you...
bev, i only remeber my grandmother's "black salve" and poultices!
Youse have freepmail...
Ummmm, am i talking to myself? It's been a long time since I killed the thread!
HI HOB....bye HOB....off to work...back tonight.
Okay.
But everything is on hold until after the President's speech. I have a full glass of ice, two cans of diet coke, the TV and a laptop. Now where is the live thread?
>>Are you ready with your graphic?

What??????? You mean you don't fry up a mess of onions, put them in a sock and secure the sock around your neck with a safety pin?
My Grandma did the fried onion thing. It made me cry, because I just didn't want to do it.
Musterol applied to the chest will blister your skin....voice of childhood experience.
As much as I love my mother, I would have beaten her away with a stick if she approached me with a "mess of onions" in a sock! Yuck! I thought the Vicks Vapo-rub on my chest under a cotton cloth and stuffed up my nose was bad enough.
I remembered another old remedy: "Green drops" for a toothache. It was this VERY strong clove-smelling ointment that you bought at the pharmacy. You put it on the aching tooth and somehow the pain went away.
