Yeah! Made it to the weekend and it's hunting season. Since Turkey Day is just a few days away that means my two favorite football games are up. UT vs. TAMU and the Cowboy's Thanksgiving Debacle. But looming on the horizon is the dreaded Christmas gift-shopping. Maybe this year I'll get it done well before we head off to the folks place....nah, who am I kidding.
Another couple of fine pieces from Prime Choice:

Good to hear. Things got cold fast here. We left the windows open the night before last and woke up to a 40 degree bedroom. But then we're Texan, we're allowed to be ignorant of that "cold" thing.

Your bumper sticker story reminds me of being behind one a couple of years ago....on the left side was the gay rainbow thingie, and on the right was a "Give the gift of life - donate blood".
Shudder...

I remember some good bumper stickers:
Visualize - Whirlled Peas
Visualize - Using Your Turn Signal
The Closer You Get - The Slower I Go
And I have
Auntie Em - Hate You - Hate Kansas - Taking the Dog - Dorothy

My dogs and chins are loving it! The birds are fluffed, but OK with it (I just double their food).
I even turned on the fire place last night. :) :)
PS....
I just invited my Grumpy Batchelor Brother to TG dinner and he said he's planning on going to Huddle House instead.
Hrmpt.

They would be speeding in my towns school zone. Cops won't cut you a break for 6.0192 mph over the limit in a school zone.

I had to look up "Huddle House", and it looks to be similar to Boston Market here in the North East. Mrs Exile has to work on Thanksgiving, so I have to prepare dinner. I wanted to go out, but she said no. I can't make coffee and she wants me to cook dinner. This is going to be a massacre.

Hun,
Order it out,
pick it up,
put it in your own pans and throw away the boxes.
She'll never be the wiser.

Freaking Brilliant!
Now I won't have to spend my day off cursing and trying to find the fire extinguisher.

Survey:
How many of you used to ride your bike (of jump up and down) on the air-hose at a full-service gas station just to piss off the attendant inside?
ding, ding... (damn you kids)... ding, ding.
