No compassion here. They gave Arafat a state funeral and gave their own in so doing.

And kep the I-a-tollia of rock-en-rolla from Iran safe all those years also.

Yep. Of course the ball-less wonders in charge are still trying to "negotiate" an end to the rioting. What a joke.

Sorry, but between crazy radical Muslims and cowardly liberal French, I just don't care. They've both already lost in my book. An understandable sentiment; however, the problem is: who is next? This is only the beginning, as far as I am concerned. The only way for a country to rid itself of this problem is to remove the people causing the problems ... round 'em up and ship 'em out with a one way ticket ... or whatever other remedy one chooses ...

I wonder if Patton had any juicy comments about the French?
To: Sam Gamgee
Yes, he did.
"I would rather have a German division in front of me than a French division behind me."

That wasn't Schwarzkopf. It was one of Rumsfeld's aides, misattributed to Rumsfeld himself. How'd you get the Schwarzkopf connection?

It looks to me like a civil war has broking out in France between the Muslims and the French. I would like to put my money on the Muslims, not that I like the Muslims that are doing the fighting, but I do not think the French and the rest of Europe can win this coming civil war that is about to brake out in Europe. Broken out.
Break out.
Proper English helps your senseless vanities seem somewhat sane. And no, this is not a civil war. It's general lawlessness.

Very good. I little while back a great speech from Patton was posted about the pulpit killers. It was great, but I cant seem to find a link to it.
I wonder if it pissed Patton off that the Allies allowed De Gaulle to take the glory for French liberation?
To: Terpfen
I thought it was him. Maybe I was wrong.
Oh well.

It did, because the French division that entered Paris was originally assigned to 3rd Army, which was going to take Paris had it not been for an order to halt. The division was reassigned to 1st Army, who then got the credit for entering Paris.
It was one of many screw-overs Patton got during WW2.

Somebody else who used 'Brake' incorrectly: Jimmyclyde in his various multiple personas.
