Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Violence continues for an eighth straight day in the suburbs of Paris. Over 200 vehicles were set ablaze overnight.
Meanwhile, in this country, the Las Vegas mayor suggested that people who are caught defacing freeways with grafitti should have their thumbs cut off--on TV.
And the media, doing what they do best--harrass--have been so bent on going after Judge Alito's mother, who is 90 years old, that she has become, for all intents and purposes, a prisoner in her own home. Neighbors say she isn't even able to go outside and undertake one of her favorite activities, tending to her flowers, for fear of being hounded by media outlets.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
I just had a call from my friend - her son-in-law came through surgery just fine....the cancer has NOT returned, it was only scar tissue. GOD IS GOOD!!! Thank you all for your prayers....

How about special counsel Fritsgerald comment about preferring his indictment of Mr. Libby to have been made in the election of 2004? Great people we have "protecting" our judicial system.

Volk Field is where we went in August for Ev's sendoff. Inside the hangar in the background is where the troops stood in formation during the many speeches and accolades. You can see some of the many flags that are hanging inside.
Two of these brothers just returned from Iraq. The third will be shipping out with Ev's unit.
I know this week must be flying by for you in some ways and seeming to drag out in slow motion in others ways.

Unfortunately, I think that article contains quite a bit of, shall we say, "creative" wording by Newsmax.
In some ways it's like he never left...........I know he's here because I see the dirty dishes, wet towels, etc. etc. etc.;^)
But he's been spending a LOT of time with Katie and most of the rest of the time with his buddies. He does squeeze in a bit of time for us here & there and we had a nice talk last night. Tomorrow we are taking Ev & Katie out for lunch. Sunday a.m. we will go to the airport with the 2 of them, and then bring Katie home.....after.
I'd better get moving here........another sort-of-busy day.
Paul Vallely, on air last night on the John Batchelor show, said he met Joe Wilson in 2002 in the "green room" of a cable network's studio.Both Vallely and Wilson were waiting to go on air. Wilson, at that time, was packaging himself as an expert on Iraq.
Vallely said that since he and Wilson found they had some acquaintances in common, they began talking. In the course of the conversation, Wilson told Vallely that Wilson's wife worked for the CIA.
This conversation, Vallely said, took place in 2002, several months before Plame's alleged "outing" at the hands of Karl Rove and Scooter Libby, via Robert Novak's column published July 14, 2003.
That's my take on it, too. Just a wee bit of connecting dots that might not exist.

I listened to Fitsgerald's comments during his press conference -- he never mentioned anything about the election. I think what he was saying was that he would have preferred the investigation to only take a few months instead of taking over a year.
Granted, Fitsgerald's investigation should have concluded once it was determined that Plame was not covert and no law was broken -- the remainder of the investigation was a perjury trap. However, I think it's quite a stretch to claim that Fitsgerald is some sort of Democrat party hack out to bring down a Presidency.
Keep in mind, despite what Fairy Reid has said, Fitsgerald has publically and categorically denied that the indictment of Libby is an indictment of the war in any way, shape, or form.

Disabled Woman Set Ablaze Updated: 12:36, Friday November 04, 2005
A handicapped woman was doused with petrol and set on fire by youths during another night of rioting in Paris.
The 56-year-old suffered third degree burns to 20% of her body in the attack.
Witnesses said a youth poured petrol over the woman and then threw a Molotov cocktail on to the bus she was travelling on in the suburb of Sevran.
Other passengers were able to flee but she was unable to escape because of her disabilities.
It was the worst incident so far in more than a week of rioting.
For the first time, there were also signs of copycat rampages elsewhere in France.
If I remember correctly he stated that the French were far more civil than we.
