Based on a Christian friend born in Iran who came back from visiting relatives there months ago.

The place is off the hook radical Islam wise.

Try to say your a Christian and they will force a Koran on you and debate you into their cult.
You better fake taking the Koran for real like this friend did or they might cut off your head right there.

We will be at war with them soon, it's the worst it's been ever according to the person who visited their family in Iran recently.

Calling for input here...

I don't want to see those people guided by devils like that, but this is another deal that will be forced on use to do something about fairly soon IMO.

No argument here.

I know there are some good people stuck in Iran that would like to change it, but I think they are too few in number and don't have the weapons for a good enough insurrection.

All, can we get some sense to this? What I hear from the Iranians I know is that there are a LOT of people who would like to change the regime (what I hear is a very large majority), though they cannot all speak out, and certainly do not have the weapons.

This ex Iranian citizen could not believe the change since the new President and says it is the scariest place on earth to him now, he will NOT return.

Any input?

"Any input?"

Don't tire yourself needlessly, and drink plenty of fluids.

How is everyone?

I see that I've already missed a grand Bob exposition.

Well, I'm doing fine. I think I should let everyone know that I wasn't around today because I was a little busy. Since the "parlor" hasn't been used lately (and I'm procrastinating on my "big paper"), I had the zombies and squirrels clean out the vat room. They did a pretty good job. It took them a while, and I had to tell the zombies that Santa wouldn't bring them any coal this year if they didn't leave the squirrels alone. But they managed to remove all of the stuff that was in there. They then moved my vat and all the old equipment out of storage. While they were doing that, I read the manual for all those gadgets that NicknamedBob and Dead Corpse had to read. I can't believe how simple it is to use! You guys said that it was really sophisticated and required special training to use. Sure...

After that was all set up, I got out my radio and turned on a little country music. And... I made some more wine and grape juice (for those of use who don't drink alcoholic beverages). Don't worry, Bob - I wore a uniform I picked up last week. Here it is:

I also bought a matching cap to cover my hair.

So now we have enough drink to last us a couple of months after lift off. I'll have the squirrels and zombies remove the equipment tomorrow, if you like. I won't be using it for another couple of months - at least until after I get my proposal defended.

So, this is my Christmas present to you all. Merry Christmas!

And I'm not taking my old title back. I've decided on a new one. But I have to get the okay from King Prout. KP, where are you???

Hmmm...sounds like time to get the wassail bowl ready...now where are my spices?

Here we come a-wassailing
Among the leaves so green,
Here we come a-wand'ring
So fair to be seen.
Love and joy come to you,
And to you your wassail, too,
And God bless you, and send you
A Happy New Year,
And God send you a Happy New Year.

We are not daily beggers
That beg from door to door,
But we are neighbors' children
Whom you have seen before
Love and joy come to you,
And to you your wassail, too,
And God bless you, and send you
A Happy New Year,
And God send you a Happy New Year.

Good master and good mistress,
As you sit beside the fire,
Pray think of us poor children
Who wander in the mire.
Love and joy come to you,
And to you your wassail, too,
And God bless you, and send you
A Happy New Year,
And God send you a Happy New Year

We have a little purse
Made of ratching leather skin;
We want some of your small change
To line it well within.
Love and joy come to you,
And to you your wassail, too,
And God bless you, and send you
A Happy New Year,
And God send you a Happy New Year.

Bring us out a table
And spread it with a cloth;
Bring us out a cheese,
And of your Christmas loaf.
Love and joy come to you,
And to you your wassail, too,
And God bless you, and send you
A Happy New Year,
And God send you a Happy New Year.

God bless the master of this house,
Likewise the mistress too;
And all the little children
That round the table go.
Love and joy come to you,
And to you your wassail, too,
And God bless you, and send you
A Happy New Year,
And God send you a Happy New Year.

Did you see the Christmas in Iran thread Khashayer posted the other day? That was amazing!

see #23: کريسمس مبارک (kreestmees mobarak, or blessed Christmas)

It was definitely amazing! But some of the other reports of Iran coming out now are very disturbing. Their rulers (I will not call them "leaders") are busily working to create one unholy mess over there.

I read that post well over a dozen times before I sent it off. I can't believe I missed that.

Yes, grape guts are kinda hard to clean out of one's hair.
Good thinking on the cap.
