To: Monkey Face
Lure him with peanuts?
No. You open the door, put him in, and close the door.
So how do you get a giraffe into the refrigerator?
To: Das Outsider
Same way...only different.
To: tuliptree76
It's only 4:30. Why am I so tired???
Hard work? Long hours? Listening to Bill O' Reilly?
To: Monkey Face
Same way...only different.
No. You have to take the elephant out of the refrigerator first.
So you're invited to a party, and all but one animal can come: which one is it?
To: Das Outsider
The Party Animal, of course.
To: Monkey Face
The Party Animal, of course.
The giraffe, since he's still in the fridge.
Later, you're walking on the way home from the party when you come to a swamp. A sign says "DANGER: ALLIGATORS." What do you do?
To: Das Outsider
I call Pogo, of course. It's his home, so he knows how to handle alligators...;o]

Nope. You swim across. Why?
All of the alligators are at the party.
To: tuliptree76
LOL! Maybe it's just time you took some time and rested...
To: Das Outsider
I've been going to bed early and sleeping in lately. I think my internal clock is messed up. I don't know why I'm getting 8 hours of sleep at night. I might be getting too much sleep.
To: Dead Corpse
Woot!
To: Das Outsider
I am in awe.
Your superior knowledge of the arcane and unknowable is astounding.
May I buy you a drink?
Or will the giraffe already have drunk it?
To: tuliptree76
I might be getting too much sleep.
Some people max out at six or seven hours; anything beyond that leaves them tired. It could be seasonal, as well.
To: Monkey Face
I lost time from resting while I was sick.
To: tuliptree76
LOL!
As long as I've known you, you have kept some odd hours with very little sleep. Perhaps it's time now to just let the sleep come when it wants. Your body must need it, or you wouldn't be doing it.

Poppycock! Giraffes don't drink!
The little test that I put you through was actually part of a communications study done years ago which did show that children around the age of five or six are better at solving certain problems than adults.
To: Das Outsider; tuliptree76
I used to make do quite nicely on 6-7 hours a night, and be full of energy. Now, however, I never feel rested, no matter how much sleep I get.
I would rather be working and getting 6-7 hours of sleep a night. :o[

I suppose I'll go lay down for a while. I'll be back later.
