I really enjoyed that movie. I don't go to many movies in the theater, myself. It gets to be expensive, even with my student discount.

Sometimes I wonder how they come up with that stuff. LOL!
To: King Prout
I just found this somewhere, out
There.

Interesting points. I understood the disputed statement, as it were, in a less contentious way. To me, what was "troubling" about the accusations of anti-Semitism was the intellectual bankruptcy and detachment from reality of the critics.
(Mr. Greydanus is a Catholic who's a crank about the text.)

I had heard it promoted as a cowboy film. It was. In America, movies about cowboys are going to be much more popular than, say, movies about goatherds. Still, from what I read (no way am I going to go see the movie), the one is a herder of sheep, not a herder of cattle.
(Not that there's anything wrong with being a shepherd, but the marketing is dishonest. Oh, wait... this is Hollyweird...)

NnB takes a leisurely stroll around the castle, notes unusual degree of quiet.
The lull before the storm.
Still not everyone has moved into their rooms yet, doing last-minute things for Christmas and family. There will be a flurry of activity next Sunday, after Christmas morning.
People will likely toss themselves out with the discarded gift wrapping.
Others, those with orbiting children, will be in a tizzy to get all the stuff packed up and organized for our departure on Tuesday.
But for now things are quiet.
The halls echo with the quiet. Sounds from outside, normally muted by the thick walls, gently seek avenues of entry into the calmness.
Passing through the massive main doors to the courtyard we enter a world of morning. Bright light floods the space, and breezes waft about as songbirds flit and serenade the garden spot
The ornamental shrubs and fountains cast a dignified and peaceful air upon the scene as gardeners gather flowers for interior decorations..
Continuing through the courtyard, and the main gates of the castle, we cross the drawbridge, and hear the soft lapping of the wavelets in the moat. The water is still, with no sign of swimmers or plesiosaurs.
Off to the left, a rhythmic pop, pop, pop indicates that someone is getting in some early morning target practice at the shooting range. The sound has a reassuring industrial quality to it.
Overhead, an enormous canopy of arching metal beams hold up a transparent canopy to shield the castle dwellers from the elements, while a good quantity of those elements gather and plot their mischief within the structure. Soft wisps of condensation can be seen circulating in the upper regions.
The regular overnight rain has again washed the surfaces clean, and the air smells Springlike and earthy.
NnB takes in a deep breath, and hesitates. Somewhere there must be coffee.
