I know...like "Ebonics"...we find that difficult to understand, but it is a "language"...according to California...I'm quite proud of the little I have learned of it.

Basically, it's "I've had jobs before but I prefer to sell drugs." This was from a mother of 6 with two years of college. Straight A student all the way through school.

I've usually heard the word "lift" used in place of "ride".
Like "Need a lift?" or "Want a lift?"... or something
like that & that's always the first thing I think of.
