LOL!
I had a cat that would kill for a piece of green bell pepper!
And a dog that would fight you for a slice of peach.
Hobbes doesn't get people food. She is strictly an Iams baby.

Mollie D. Panther (now positively ID'd as a Bombay) likes a sip of beer now and then.
Sally liked coffee.
Jones kept trying to put squirrel on my menu.

I think it was an oil refinery, and it was accidental.

Mimi was a bobcat domestic mix.
She loved ham, turkey, and roast beef as well, and would climb my leg with her claws to get said ham, turkey, or roast beef.
She'd do this mournful pathetic mewling until I relented and gave her the food.
But by then she was already hanging off my shirt.

LOL, squirrel on the menu, eh?
NiMH keeps trying to teach us how to hunt by releasing live bunnies into the kitchen.

this is
the event: There has been a large explosion followed by two smaller blasts in the St Albans area, around 25 miles north of London.
Sky Correspondent Sky Meade has said he can see flames about 200ft in the sky and there appears to be burning fuel.
Speaking by telephone from his home, Meade described "burning tongues" of flames in the sky.
The first blast happened at 6.03am - the other explosions followed about 20 minutes later.
Meade, a seasoned war reporter said he can see what looks like "burning aviation fuel".
"This fire is extremely intense. It is a bright orange glow on the horizon," he said.
so now we are all up to speed.
timpad recalls MadIvan living somewhere in that general area, and is concerned MadIvan has not yet checked in to say he and his are all A-OK.

"I'm often on, just lurking."
Ah. That explains it...When Darks lurks, my typo rate increases exponentially. Often, when he's not there (I ping him just to make sure) I will typo pretty bad, but not like when he is lurking. Now I understand why...it's you. ;o]

It is curious that several explosions occured.
When you mentioned it, I left the computer to ask my mother, I hope Ivan is ok.
