So hay. What do we call you? I mean, we have to shorten your name somewhat...like a term of endearment. Stephen? John? Banker? SB? What?

That way, I can say "Hey,______! How ya doin' today?"

Oh.

I see.

I should've added the # onto the URL line.

Thanks!

Yeah, that one never goes out of style.

Is it good afternoon or good evening to you?

I've referred to him as SJB, but I don't know if that's how he thinks of himself.

Ah.

Well, when you're finished being busy, belly up to the bar. We have several excellent bars here in the castle.

NOTICE:

You will be pleased to learn that the entire upper floor of the East Side Courtyard Rooms have been reserved by a world-traveling businessman, and his “small” assortment of associates.

The reservation begins on December 27, and has been requested to run uninterrupted until further notice, as the gentleman wishes to use our facilities to “unwind” after extensive business travels and a flurry of activity toward the end of the year.

We are requesting your cooperation to help us provide the privacy and the welcome surroundings that they seek.

This gentleman is quite obviously a man of influence, with contacts all over the world, most of them seemingly on a first name basis. Although of an apparent very good humor, this gentleman appears to be no one with whom to trifle -- though short in stature, he has a burly physique, and he casually mentioned that he is the type to “keep lists.”

I’m recommending we all be on our best behavior, for he certainly looks like someone who can dole out the lumps to anyone who displeases him.

As an example of his sense of humor, he asked if we would mind if he took off and landed on our roof! I explained to him that we did not have heliport service, and he responded with a hearty chuckle, and then assured me that he would make out on his own! What a character!

Now, for the rest of us. Anyone wishing to check in early, should contact the accommodations clerk at the central hall desk. For those traveling single or semi-detached, the interior rooms of the courtyard structure offer quite a lot in a small package. These are the only rooms which have any kind of room service, in that there is a delivery system which can provide access to package deliveries of moderate size.

For families traveling together, the guest rooms on the castle second, third and fourth level provide a wide variety of accommodation plans, from separate bedrooms for all to bunkhouse or barracks style for such groups as boy or girl scouts. Keep in mind this is a working resort, and you are as likely to be next door to say the kitchen manager as you are to find your own neighbor.

PAYMENT: This should not be a concern. We know that many of you will have left apartments and regular monthly bills which will have to be dealt with in your absence. Accordingly, a large deposit will be made in your electronic banking facility of choice after you have settled in. In this manner you may enjoy your stay with us without concern about having bills pile up.

Any adjustments necessary for boarding pets or livestock which will not be traveling with us will have to be done on your own.

All communications here in the Castle and associated habitats will be through local telephonic and video exchanges. For signaling back to Earth, contact the radio or navigation specialist on duty.

Also please bear in mind that the associated habitats operate on an entirely different time of day. For those of you who are early risers, I recommend Habitat A, which has been dubbed the “Are We There Yet?” Many restaurants and small shops are located there, and much of the hydroponics growth of vegetables and cultivation of grains occurs in the distant chambers of the habitat.

For late-night folks, you may prefer Habitat B, the “He’s Touching Me!” Where more of our domestic animals and traditional farm culture are resident.

And anyone who happens to be concerned about claustrophobia, or just wishes to enjoy the “Great Outdoors,” keep in mind that the entire castle enclosure has a shirtsleeve environment, and many are encouraged to camp out in the designated campgrounds. You will require a tent of some type, however, as rain is scheduled for every local morning sometime between three o’clock and four o’clock.

That should cover the basics, although it is appropriate to once again warn against unescorted travel in the underground chambers below the castle. As this is an industrial area, designated for both light and heavy manufacturing, it is VERY STRONGLY recommended that ordinary citizens and guests not go there without a number of necessary safeguards.
