We were all looking at him like he was melting.
And then he busted a gut laughing.
He went to buy a house.
Guy said he wouldn't sell the house to him because of his skin color as his neighbors might freak about it.
Darryl buys the neighbors house, and then introduces himself to the owner of the previous house as the new neighbor...
Only Darryl was rather un-PC about it.

He was vastly displeased with the trend in the 80's of shutting down nuke plants.

Some of teh new designs, like the pebble bed reactor, look very promising.
Problem is, if you mention "Nuclear power" in the U.S., people tend to freak out and start mentioning "Three Mile Island" or "Indian Point Nuclear Reactor".
(I don't live too far from Indian Point reactor.)
