Gil Elvgren, erotic pinup artist.
A few of my sketches have beenn compared to his work, but I don't see the comparison myself.
(Elvgren is by far the better artist.)

I think I'm fine. I'm working on some genealogy for a friend, and I'm under a time constraint, so my posting here is sporadic, at best.
My furnace has not been working, and the temps here at night have been in the 20's, so I needed something warm. I don't think my feet will ever be warm again...

Hi!
Been wandering around, goofing with a game add on pack and such.

That sounds like fun!
I'd like to be doing that...instead of keeping my nose to the computer screen for the genealogy info...:o|

I banged the side of my hand and made my pinky finger go numb.
Pinched the nerve that runs along the side of your hand.
So I'm not goofing with the game right now.

"I was going to ask you something but I had to take a phone call ..." You were going to ask, "... but who would vouch for NnB in the matter of prurience?"
Ahem. Actually, I rather prefer the term concupiscent. The definition for prurience keeps referring to "an inordinate interest ..." Inordinate? What's unusual about it?

Did that last night while goofing with the game.
Doesn't hurt, it's just annoying.

I'd like to know that, as well. I thought it was a prerequisite for being in the Flying Castle...
I mean, we're going to be in space a long time, and we'll need SOMEthing to warm up the chilly winter nights...

"... we'll need SOMEthing to warm up the chilly winter nights..." Yeah, something besides what little heat we can glean from a few solar mirrors and a few thousand tons of U-know-what in more than a thousand nuclear reactors.
By the way, what are we going to do with all that atomic number 79 stuff that clogged up our filters while we were sifting the U-know-what out of the seawater?
Because of its density, I've been packing it into the harmonic balancing system, but I was hoping to get rid of it before we take off. (We're going to be dismantling the harmonic balancer anyway because we won't need it in space.)
I had heard that I might be able to use it as a trade-payment to the inhabitants of Manitoba for the property rights I want to purchase. What else can you do with 1440 tons of the stuff?

Gee...maybe if you can find a way to torch it on impact, we could jettison most of it over China. Os some other place that is currently a thorn...
It sounds good for a trade for Manitoba, but if there is any left, you might consider the jettison-project...

I'm saving the Tungsten, (atomic number 74), for our jettisoning projects.
Dead Corpse requested it.

My dictionary makes the distinction that prurience has a more lewd and lascivious component than concupiscent which is has more of a romantic component.
As for vouchsafing your character with regards to prurience, NnB, (or concupiscence)...I shall vouch for you.

I'm back. Had a quick visit and a cup o' tea with my m-i-l.
I'll be leaving for the ballet/swim practice run soon.

(I mean, that is pretty incontrovertible documentary evidence, n'est-ce pas?)
