We've already arranged for cattle and sheep, among others. Chickens, ducks, pheasant and other game birds, rabbits both wild and domesticated, pigs of course, and tilapia and other fish stocks.
Most of the tilapia seem to go to support the plesiosaur family, which is sort of like peacocks as a decorative item.
"If we're taking livestock, we have to feed them something. is the castle a sustainable family farm, self-sufficient, economically and ecologically balanced (among other fantasies)?"
In addition to the castle grounds, which constitute about three square miles of agricultural acreage, we have the associated support vessels which are primarily dedicated to hydroponic and high-intensity cultivation of grains and vegetables. They look like overgrown cruise ships, but their multiple levels have artificial lighting for agricultural purposes.
We estimate we can support a population of ten thousand people on three linked habitats which will be rotating for artificial gravity.

One advantage of raising livestock in a space habitat is that you can isolate the atmosphere surrounding, for example, the pigs.
They will be to a degree confined, but I am sure they will enjoy the lower one-third gee acceleration at which we will travel.
You'll hardly know they are there, except when they show up at mealtimes.

That means I'm going to "weigh" nearly 900 pounds.
Cool... I'll be sure to warm up a bit first before doing squats... ;-)

Morning, DC.
I feel hungover this morning, and I didn't even drink last night. Maybe I need to get on the Gazelle and walk a mile. Or two.
How is Ana doing with her Christmas caroling?

Mernin'!
Eh... she's doing good. Amazing really. We've taken her around to a couple of different neighborhoods to see all the Christmas light displays. I think she gets a little confused that we aren't actually going up to the house for "trick or treat" this time around.
Other than that... I'm still working out three times a week. Kicked my own arse yesterday with my chest/shoulders workout. You know you've worked your pecs a bit too hard when the "pump" makes it difficult to wash your own hair afterward.
Still got some Shopping to do. Mostly for Zon. Yippy. I hate crowds.

I can very well imagine that Ana would be a little confused! Next year, she'll know everything there is to know about the difference between Halloween and Christmas.
I'm almost done with my shopping, too, and I also hate crowds. Give me a catalog and a credit card, and I'm perfectly happy!
I think I'm going to have to work out this morning. I normally only do it three days a week, but I can't get going. Dang. Maybe some hot cider will wake me up...

Slippy liked my
poem this morning when the Word was given.
What do you think about the sesquipedalian pedal extremities I shoehorned into this one?
