I didn't think you were talking about ATRW, but about FR in general since the whole forum is quite tense right now.

I was aware you might have been talking instead about your home situation. It sounds like it was a good evening for a glass of wine... ;-) I hope you were able to relax somehow anyway.

>>The agent realizes her spouse can go out on behalf of the spy agency, can distort information, go public with classified information and use all this spy-agency-sponsored material and credentials to try to pull down the current government, and it is all perfectly legal.

Holy smokes

This is worse than the Dan Rather stuff......I wonder why the blogs aren't hummin' this 24/7 ??

Hey, sweetie!

There's a picture of Reid speaking on the Tony Snow thread. Byrd is sleeping soundly in the background. Funny .....and sad.

Everyone should flood Trent Lott's mailbox and phone lines. Talk about 'stuck on STUPID!'...........That he is not supporting the President is disgusting.

There is a faction within the CIA that did try to pull a Dan Rather. And I still want to know how Wilson knew about forged documents, many months before the documents became public and found to be forged? My bet is Wilson messed up the timeline and forgot the forged documents hadn't been "discovered" yet.

And why isn't the Republican leadership screaming loudly that the Senate Select Committee found that Wilson lied about who he met with and his finding in Niger and that what he did find actually bolstered the CIA's case?

You know, every once in a while I get this disquieting notion that there is a whole other world of conflict and intrigue that we know nothing about. I sometimes think there are factions all over the country fighting surreptitiously, and I go along in my little bubble, thinking I am "aware".

Hmmm. Tin-foil time! Good thing I am babysitting today, so I can't dwell on dark thoughts.

Good morning. got to take oldest D to the dentist this morning so she can get a couple of teeth pulled.

Got another egg yesterday, I think I am getting ready to get enough eggs to start a egg store, 17 hens and 1 strutting rooster. My thoughts on Wilson, he don't tell the truth and this the nice version I am giving.

My question nearly every day.

Some posters have told me that the American public doesn't want to see dissent or the Republicans get into the gutter with the left. That's a false argument, imo, as dispelling a lie does not mean that one has to be mean or get in the gutter.

I know the press only covers what it wishes to cover and that typically doesn't include Republican truth tellers, and so a way around that is to have a huge press conference with all the Republican leadership which would force the press to cover their exposure of the left's lies.

That the left is permitted to continue to lie about the war and whether there were WMD and whether Iraq had ties to AQ is outrageous when one considers how this must demoralize our military. It infuriates me to no end that the administration/Republican leadership don't at least talk about the known, provable facts.

The more I read about the CIA/Plamegate matter, the more I realize I don't know how this stuff works. There is so much infighting on various issues and cashless payoffs that it makes my head hurt.

Norm Coleman, of all people, is going to vote against ANWR, for example. Is he expecting a favor in exchange for that vote?

You know, this COULD be a special bowl of oatmeal I got in the mail the other day but I did get some grits in the mail not long ago and maybe they sent YOU a mess to cook up for me.

Coffee is ready, be back in a few.

Norm Coleman campaigned on an environmental platform ( dear to Minnesotans). It has long been expected that he would vote against ANWR. No surprise. The GOP has the votes without him.

I'm not talking about stuff like that. I'm talking about the uneasy feeling I get that tere are people running aroud the country taking people out secretly, and that there are battles going on over things we will never know about.

Time to go dry my hair!

Good Morning!

Had a wonderful trip to Az last week. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful country. Spent time hiking the Tonto National Forest, and the Mogollion Rim.

Spent a few days in Sedona. A bit too "New Age" for me, but the red canyons are stunning.

Good morning!

Hold your head up and smile, LBKQ. I turned in all my red pens w/my retirement letter. lol

It may be because I read a lot of spy novels, but for some time now, I have suspected a shadow world behind all this Plame business. The CIA is in the covert business....subject to little or no oversight. The behind the scenes "work" is full of intrigue sometimes for the good of this country. However, the Wilson/Plame "business" reeks of a rogue operation set into motion to smear and bring down the Bush administration. That spells TREASON to me.

I thought of you this morning when I went out on the deck to get a breath of fresh air.

The pallet was outstanding....blues...reds...oranges...pinks...among the white clouds. Truly beautiful.

I have no confidence in the MSM.

I was really struck how Harry Smith viciously assaulted members of the Swift Boaters last year during John Kerry's run for the presidency. There was no pretense of being impartial or objective in their accusations leveled at John O'Neill.

To me that was the beginning of the end.
