Quiet? Ah, yes. Well, you see, since 4:00 I have engaged in the "Great and Glorious Search for The 3/8" Tube Stub, 316L Stainless Steel, Inline Check Valve". A most fascinating adventure, made the more intriguing in that the three databases that might contain information about it do not have mutually overlapping searchable data fields. In one database, I can look to see whether the part number exists and/or (usually "or") whether parts of the same description (or a likely simiar description) exist. Armed with those meager findings, I'm off to another database to laboriously download and view any existing specification data to confirm whether or not any of the valves I found in the previous database are, indeed, the specific valve I need. Having, after the space of an hour, exhausted the limits of both databases and come up with exactly nothing, I confidently pull a new part number. Doing all of this ensures that someone will, inevitably, send email to ask me why I went to all the trouble when it was in the database all along under the description "VOLF,CZECH,9.53TS,316SST" with no associated manufacturer's part number. To this I will reply with invective-laced instructions regarding the precise APS (Anatomical Positioning System) coordinates where their previously-pulled valve can be most satisfactorily, uh, "installed". this will be followed with Hitleresque admonishments about "next time you pull a part number, Jackass, try including the Manufacturer's part number in the appropriate field"!

Did you know...
A hundred years ago, Mechanical Engineers made TWICE as much money as Dentists?

Er....
AalRIGHTYthen! It seems to me that you are working with folks who suffer from Cranial-Rectal Inversion. A situation that will obviously (to you and I) never "rectify" itself. (If you get my meaning...)

As for the factoid, I'm supposing that dentists were honest, then...(no offense to any honest dentists who read this...)

Yeah, but a hundred years ago, Dentists were Carpenters, working in a smaller scale.
