Same old story with beachie; as soon as we get here, she's on the way out.
I checked outside and it's still cloudy, dark, chilly; probably like this up and down the Pacific Coast.

The EQ was just one strong, sharp jolt. I'm waiting for the "other shoe to drop."
This was centered offshore. We had a mild offshore quake one week before Northridge (1994).
