Actually, I haven't had any trouble since using MSN Explorer.
The only pop-ups are when you g to some web sites. I did use an Internet deal which got rid a a lot of the adware. I forgot what the name is but it got rid of a lot of the ad-ware.
Yes, I do de-frag the hard drive. Whe I get ready to put the computer the bed the two thing I run are disk cleaup and disk defragmenter. Always do this before turning the computer off and exiting MSN Explorer.
I like MSN Explorer. It's a pretty good web browser. It blocks a lot of stuff. It works just as well.

Hi, *C*. So nice of you to send cyber sunshine our way. It's been foggy, drizzly, dreary, etc. in southern Calif. This morning, the sun was trying to break gorgeously through some clouds. I have been working underground all morning, haven't looked out for the latest. Sunshine is welcome.
I don't know anything about computers, and "laptop stories" sounds provocative! LOL!

Hi, beachie. So glad things are okay for your family in Florida. I saw some pictures of Everglades City, FL this morning; devastation everywhere, the city hall is gutted.
Folks who were stranded in Cancun, Mexico are just now able to fly back home; don't know the extent of damages for Mexico.
We had an earthquake here in L.A. last Saturday night. It was just a 3.2 but I felt it since I live near the epicenter. It occurred just a short while after Game 1, World Series, ended.
I'm busier than ever at work (Ma knows what that is like), so prize the little visits I can make to the Canteen to say Hi to FRiends and ...
