Evenin' Tonk!

This one might not make a lot of sense to some, but here goes. I'm an AUTOCad draftsman. What that means is I draw on a computer what we used to draw on paper. Most of us made the transition okay, but some of the older fellas just didn't get the point. This became apparent one day when the oldest draftsman in the room was asked to measure the length of a particular piece of steel and instead of using the "measure" or "distance" commands, he held his drafting scale up to the screen. It was decided he might be of better service as a drawing checker, an important position, but one not subject to the unfamiliarity of digital input.

Loud bang, lottsa smoke, no fire.

New power supply and strangely, a new floppy drive.

Somehow, the floppy cause an abnormal draw on the supply.

Heard from a reliable source that the explosions outside those Baghdad hotels today were pretty big stuff.

"The loudest explosions that I have ever heard not counting American ordnance."

I simply cannot imagine why insurgents would want to frighten off or kill and maim their very best allies in the area and in the war.

Just wanted to share.......

Is the thread too long?

I tried to keep it to 7 words but ended up with 8

I have been bitten by the tropical insect again. Sleeping all the time, could be the weather, it's lousy.
