This IS nothing.
Overall, from both pro and con, the Miers nomination has wrought an extraordinary unpleasantness. I've really begun to hate the entire month of October 2005 (except for five blissful days on Long Island).

No. It is not a hatred of her. It is the lack of the 'substance' of her that is in question. You make it sound personal; it isn't. The question is her competence and qualifications.
