Tommy Lee Injured At Crue Concert
KNAC ^ | 10-12-2005 | Newsferatu, Writer

A pyrotechnic stunt gone wrong apparently injured Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee on Wednesday night during the band's concert at the Casper Events Center in Casper, Wyoming.

"The lights went out and Roman candles went off," and someone cursed, said Del Kinswoman, who attended the concert with her husband, Eddie, an advertising photographer for the Casper Star-Tribune.

They said Lee was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Lee had been hoisted on a wire and was swinging back and forth between several drum sets perched several feet above the stage when the fireworks went off, said Tom Morton, a Star-Tribune reporter who was at the concert.

Singer Vince Neil told the audience they couldn't perform an encore because Lee was injured and needed medical attention, Morton said.

Wyoming Medical Center has not commented on Lee's injuries.

Motley Crue was scheduled to perform in Bismarck, N.D. on Friday and in Sioux Falls, S.D. on Saturday.

Hahaha!

I watched that show a few weeks ago. I've never been a fan of his or his group really, but I have to say the show was entertaining. His trying to make the marching band was a riot and it really was bugging him that he might not make the cut. It seemed he really was proud that he made the squad.

The guy has a good sense of humor and can laugh at himself.

Any word on whether they'll be available for their Nome, Alaska or Camp Yukon, Yukon Terr. tour dates?

Motley Crue is today's Spinal Tap.

I guess I'm behind on my Crue news. I thought Tommy was out of the band. I was supposed to see them in Atlanta some weeks ago, but I couldn't make it. However, since Vince fell off the stage and injured himself during the show, they'll be a repeat concert, so I might make that one.

I'm a Crue fan and have seen them three times in concert and I never drive without one of their CDs in my car.

Nothing makes me more mad about FR than when people mock or criticize others' tastes in music, tv or movies and feel the need to post it.

That's why Baskin Robbins has 31 flavors...

He is hot. This is coming form an 80's rocker chick though.

Better looking with all the tats than probably most of the fat slobs that post on here being keyboard comandos.

"The lights went out and the Roman Candles went off."

This has all the earmarks of a terrorist attack. I'll bet the media won't cover this. Any comment from David Boren? Tommy Lee is unstable, you know.
