A guy who stands you up is a coward. If he can't look you in the eye tell you he's not interested to your face, his relationship skills are on a par with Cindy Sheehan's (all about ME) and probably he's not going to be a good, FAITHFUL protector and provider either.
Actually, I'd bet the guy wasn't an M.D. -- probably trying to use that to impress you and get your number but realized he was a fraud and didn't dare face you after all.
Sheesh. So many nice girls get burned by the FLAKES. And vice versa happens too.
